It really doesn't matter where you go in the world, food and drink is a universal language. It is in times gone by that food and drink delicacies were shared with leaders of other nations as a way to form peaceful relationships and trade relations. Food defines cultures and brings people together on a common cause. Turkey is world renowned for its coffee, this is why!. Super video, thanks for sharing :)

Tried this coffee before. Do NOT drink it if you have heart problem or palpitations. This is the strongest coffee I’ve ever tried and I needed a whole day of rest to be ok. It’s a very good coffee, but I just want to warn you because this isn’t for the faint of heart.

How many grams of caffeine in a cup of this coffee ?
@ByTheStorm9 ай бұрын
@@JohnNy-ni9npDepending on the batch? Probably around the amount of those caffeinated lemonades erroneously marketed at Panera’s. Or a bit under that. According to one site, Turkish coffee has 200mg and the 20oz lemonade has 260mg. So I definitely expect these effects. It’s definitely something that should be consumed sparingly in small glasses.
@JohnNy-ni9np9 ай бұрын

As many people have asked in the comments: 1. This is not instant coffee. For Turkish coffee, the beans are ground very finely so that it can be cooked as shown in the video. It would not work with pure coffee beans. 2. Also many people wonder about the water in the small cups at the end. This was very common in Turkey until 20 years ago, nowadays many shops sell bottled water, only a few still have these small cups. I can swear that the water tastes better in these little cups, water is water I know, but somehow it tastes better to me, maybe it's the memories of my childhood that give it a little flavour :)

This is real coffee, so delicious and simple. You don't need to buy a huge mug like in other coffee places. This small amount will make you feel energized like a 20 year old 😆 this is also why I never go to coffee places like Starbuck, Espressohouse etc they think they know how to make coffee with their fancy machines and strange blends, such as salty caramel coffee (what??) they make bad coffee, those places are expencive dirty and loud. THIS is how you make coffee and this is how you enjoy your coffee 👍🏼 /greetings from Hungary 🇭🇺
