I live in Dubai and Disney has done a great job marketing it here because it’s on all the billboards and stand up posters in malls, and Naomi Scott’s stunning Vogue cover is front row at every magazine stand in every grocery store I’ve gone in. So good job Disney. I think it’ll do well here. Super excited to see it now.

The film was SO special for me, I cried multiple times. As an Asian Indian person who grew up watching Aladdin, it was so special to watch. There are SO few moments in Hollywood where brown characters are leads, the only other films I can think of are films with Dev Patel, but this was a magical experience for me. I have no clue why they released Prince Ali as the promo clip, when it was the worst song of the whole film, Spechless was BEAUTIFUL, she did an amazing job conveying the emotion of the song and the power of Jasmine compared to the animated film, Friend Like Me was awesome with the rap, and A Whole New World had me tearing up. So great. Thank you Disney.

I really wish they hadn't changed certain things for seemingly no reason. The Price Ali dance number with all the people was awesome as well as the Friend Like Me of course. I like the ending dance scene end credits as well.
