Hi Jimmy, I'm 66 and loved them. I just found this concert vid and have been watching/listening to it over and over. Just ordered a greatest hits CD and can't wait for it to get here. Funny how, with age, I appreciate how great they are even more. Goin thru tough time, so glad I found them. Funny how music always seems to find us when we need it's magic to get us through.

Still listening Nov 21, 2020. My opinion, this may be the best Alan Parsons lineup ever! A Red Headed lady friend talked me into going to Alan's concerts in Vegas twice. Alan may remember talking to her because she was also from The U.K. She's now gone, but I come back here on occasion to remember her by. That and the music is great.

what happened to that guy best vocalist from this band
@hrojospinkfloyd2 жыл бұрын
He is not the original vocalist for that song but he does an excellent job playing and singing it

He was largely responsible for the way dark side of the moon sounded. More than he's given credit for perhaps. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

That drummer has awesome time and technique and his vocals on breakdown are spot on.... I suspect he was the original singer...
@szabopeter22 жыл бұрын
Exactly. The drummer drives this show. I spotted him many years ago. Therefore - from time to time I return to listen to this record

The original singer was the leading vocal of "The Hollies" Alan Clarke (* 5. April 1942). The drummer looks much younger than 66 years old.

the drummer has a good set of chops that is for sure. Don't find too many drummers who can sing this well. He is righteous.

This guy is so relatable. Has anyone caught the the hooks in his music? Alcott of it can be heard in other music production's. Listen closely and think where have I heard this before. The man's a musical genius.

Ive been listening to Alan Parsons Project since around 1982, I had 3 of their DVDs and then fell in love with them in the 2000 all over again, I think today they were so far ahead of thier time. I listen to the words of the songs, so well crafted along with the keyboards I put them in my alltime top 5 bands on the planet along the likes of Supertramp, The Eagles, Moody Blues. Great concert

I came to Canada in 1975, at age 10, and discovered APP when I started high school in 1979. My first album was Turn of a Friendly Card. I didn't realize at the time that it was about gambling addiction. Well, wouldn't you know it, in 1998, when I finally upgraded to a good job as a 33-year-old, I took some pay to the recently opened Casino Niagara. I started gambling in June with $11,000 in savings and by December those were down to zero. The early 00s were torments of the damned for me until I finally got clean of gambling by losing the last job I'd ever have in 2006 and going on disability. Since then I have relapsed three times for a few hours each time, twice walking out with enough money in my pocket to get through the month. But it was around 2010 that I used Amazon to buy the CD of Turn of a Friendly Card, listening to it with pleasure but gradually realizing that APP had tried to warn me about gambling and I had been deaf to their warnings.

John Montagna plays bass/sings '" Wouldn't Want to Be like You" pretty great. The Drummer and his singing while playing is about best I've seen. Great group of musicians for this 2004 Concert tour. Guitar player nails each and every note,chord, riff and lick.

I remember an old interview with AP when I Robot was big that he couldn't be onstage if they ever toured. I love that he's risen to the challenge to not only bring these songs alive, but also be a big part of it. He's got a very serviceable voice too. Kudos, Alan.
