Do ye mateys realise, that when he eats a lot more than ordinary, his focus and thinking clear and memory and gazes do seem so decreased. It's probably because most of the blood goes to yer stomach and livers and intestines and urinary system, ınstead of brain. However when ye eat slightly less than feeling fully satiated, and eat balanced and reasonable; then yer brain functions very well.

this is great! hahaha i maybe a competitive bodybuilder, but i completely respect strongmen and powerlifters. they know the importance of food and how it pertains to specific goals. great shit man.
@MADMAXMAREK
@MADMAXMAREK 10 жыл бұрын
depending on goals. as strongmen and power-lifters require TONS of calories. more calories = more size = more strength gains can be achieved. and unlike MOST bodybuilders, many power-lifters and strongmen eat MORE going into a competition, while a bodybuilder will decrease calorie intake up until the last week before carb loading. so to answer your question, is it good? yes it is just fine, if your body has been "trained" to eat. Someone cant just jump into eating like this. It has to be worked up-to. Eating is a job, as you can see in this video.

I ballooned from a skinny 170lbs to about 230lbs bulking and while my strength went through the roof I found the diet unsustainable. Moreover all that extra strength can really be attributed to my mass helping to lift those big weights: as soon as I started cutting my strength curtailed but my bank balance and health improved. Glad I did it but not worth it imo

+Master Mo Mate, this dude's diet is not healthy just because he has some broccoli, kale, brown rice and a few banana's. 8 scrambled eggs every morning, + a gallon of whole milk everyday + all the animal products at every meal = heart issues in his 40's/50's.
@Moshealthtips
@Moshealthtips 8 жыл бұрын
***** no evidence for that. Meat doesn't cause heart issues. The saturated fat changes LDL cholesterol into begnin subtype, cla fats in meat help burn fats. No studies to support your ridiculous claims

Sure bud. There actually are studies to support that meat and dairy is really unhealthy and cause a number of coronary and digestive diseases but no need to debate. Time always tells.
@Moshealthtips

***** there is no study. dont reference the debunked china study either. i can refernce any study to refute anti-meat people. which populations in the world live the longest? do they ingest meat? yes
@JR-vr2pz
@JR-vr2pz 8 жыл бұрын
The China study has not been debunked. You can reference studies to promote meat eating in which the ultimate underlying sponsor is / funding comes from the meat, dairy & egg industry. You can't prove that meat eating increases longevity or quality of life. Money makes the world go round. There is a lot more money to be made from a meat diet vs. a vegetable diet. Keep ingesting dairy products even though you are likely intolerant to it. Keep eating meat & eggs even though you will end up with a host of digestive issues, coronary disease or some type of deadly cancer such as pancreatic cancer. But before you die from these diseases, continue to give your money to the meat industry, egg & dairy industry and then when you get diseases you can give even more money to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries to treat the resulting diseases.

I ate a lot of bread yesterday. Man I felt just like you described. Blocked me right up. I usually make wraps in a flat bread which is a corn tortilla.

Just based on your height, weight, and activity level, I think 4,200 calories per day is the upper bound for your TDEE. Depending on how intense your training sessions are, I think the lower bound is probably about 3,800 calories. Is this an accurate estimation? That being said, do you really bulk at 10,000 calories per day? Dude that's like a 5,800 calorie daily surplus, which would net you almost 12 lbs of fat if you did this for a week, assuming you didn't reach escape velocity from all of the waste blasting out of your anus.

Well clearly theres something severely wrong in your calculations and/or assumptions here, because as far as I can tell, he's hardly gained any fat at all

Matt Sprengel he's really active and the more muscle mass you have the more calories you burn doing everyday tasks like walking. He prolly burns 6/7k daily and has a 3000 surplus which isn't surprising for someone who's trying to gain insane strength

Matt Sprengel yeah I would have to agree. Brian Shaw usually hits around 12000 calories per day, but he is about 400 lbs. this is basically just Alan overeating at this point.

Henry The Unicorn Yeah I get it but the average person would struggle to burn 2000 in a intense and long gym session so it's hard to know where all that energy is going.

17MXT More Caucasians are tolerant of European cow's milk (the kind in USA, we brought them here) than any other racial group, but there's still enough that are intolerant. He not only is obviously Caucasian but he looks Nordic, very cold weather people who live on a more animal based diet than other Caucasian tribes/nationalities. THAT being said, I'm also part Nordic but I'm also mixed and I am both lactose intolerant (drank soy milk as a baby) and now later in life am allergic to cow's milk protein (causes arthritis for me). In fact, it's so severe now I have to read the label of everything I buy to make sure there are no milk ingredients at all and it doesn't say at the bottom "contains milk". Good news is I've been drinking soy and almond milk for almost a decade now like I did when I was a baby and supplement with soy protein for bodybuilding. I've put lbs of muscle on this way. And no, soy is not feminizing. That is a MYTH.

Hey Alan I'm a hefty lifter 5x a week schedule powerlifting style workout and I'm trying to cut down to a healthier weight. However I have a slow metabolism so I was wondering if you had a daily meal plan for a lifter with my goal. I'd really appreciate whatever advice you can offer thanks.

A full day's work as a logger, i.e. falling, especially choke setting, limbing..etc, the caloric intake can go as high as 7200 or more calories...and you don't gain weight. I did logging and clearing between college quarters, and ate to beat hell, and had six pack abs as good as any enhanced fitness person.
