Olivier is one of the best army generals ever seen in anime and that's why she's considered the queen by the FMAB fanbase. Oh, don't get me wrong, she feels the pain and that's why she's pushing forward. If not, Buccaneer's death would have no meaning if they don't succeed.

My favorite part of the episode is when Fu is rushing in for the suicide bomb kill, you see both Ling and Greed separately shout "you stupid fool!", which shows that Greed has developed as a character -- he cares about his friends like Fu :'-( These two episodes show so much development in those two. Greed caring about his friends and Ling not even hesitating to give up his hard-won philosopher's stone to heal one of his vassals. And they've built a relationship of mutual respect with each other, to the point that Greed was totally fine letting Ling take over for a bit to do what he needed.

Damn, Ling and Greed are sooo good, I love them, poor Fu and buccaneer, they were incredible characters. Can't wait for the next episodes, It's gonna be a long wait 😭 This final episodes are a rollercoaster of emotions. I cried, I laughed, I cried again, I got angry, did I mention I cried?

This episode says so much about Greed, and he hardly says anything. I think you mentioned before how the homunculi have complex personalities, like there’s more to them. Before, Greed HAD to be in control. But in this episode, he takes a back seat and watches how Ling deals with desire and loss. They are my two faves!

what makes FMAB a great show is even when there's a big convenient "plot advance" when they are fighting the goldentooth doctor, we tend to forget it because how good the build up story in the past 50 episodes and how the story just keep ramping up until the end

Greed shows Father wasn’t bad at heart as Greed was a part of Father. Father scoffed at the thought of friends and family but it was what he really wanted. He created children and discarded most of his emotions into them becoming an emotionless thing and traveled down a bad path. Greed is a reminder of what he could have been.
