I just saw her at Apollo Theater on December 2nd performing Jagged Little Pill album in acoustic. She has such an infectious energy! I love her personality. Such an intelligent, and truly kind hearted soul. She has that vibe that's truly hard to find in people, and really sticks with you and is inspirational. Also sounds AMAZING live..no lip syncing. Gorgeous inside and out!! Thanks Alanis for the great music, book recommendations, psychological knowledge (from podcasts, her music, and books), humbleness , maturity and the extra kindness you instilled in me through my time following you as an artist. I LOVE her. I saw her in 99 on her Supposed Former tour, when she toured Asia for the second time. Stayed back after the show with some friends and we did see her come out and get into her van. She was so obviously tired, but she found energy to smile and make faces through the windows and wave. It so nice to see how sweet she was, even with her looking so tired. My 16 year old heart loved her even more after that. Alanis, just amazing.

Makes me miss Carson and Letterman...def Carson. With late night shows tonight I wonder if today’s younger generations lack of attention span create all the gimmicky shit like this or the or if it’s being dumbed down to relate to them. I not as old as it may seem but watching Dick Cavett listen because he asked the right ? and was engaging and engaged. Alannis Morissette is a legend. She's played to crowds of all sizes all over the world, so when she's standing, singing 10ft in front of you you'd rather experience this extremely privellaged and rare treat through the 4inch viewer of your phone than actually look at her.
