Sick build. When I was 14 in 1985, I bought a new white with lavender Street Beat for $400 with my paper route money. Sadly, I sold it in my mid-20's for pennies. Now I'm turning 53 and it's tempting to build one of these.

I don't want to say anything negative but I've built my own, FFH are new. Parts are Skyway (wheels, brake blocks, grips and seatpost, Profile stem and sprocket.all other parts are odyssey. All parts are new and it cost me a shade over £1000

Yes mate he is, but he's put some right shit parts on this build. Look carefully how much travel is on the front brake cable coming out of the steerer tube. Looks like a snare

So temping to buy, how much does she weight,if i knew how much the full bike weighs that will be if i buy it or not. Could you weight that bike because id build it with the same specs but white with green parts or vice-versa

I'm 49, so don't get me wrong, I LOVE my old school bikes, but after riding still, even at my age & you try a new geometry bmx bike, with thy upgraded tech it's like going from a Lamborghini to a clapped out Honda, I'm sure a few of you can agree, they feel super cramped, extra heavy, & i wouldn't feel safe jumping off anything than a curb, so i really wish they'd make a resto mod some bmx Street Beat, with integrated headset, mid bottom bracket, 3/4-14mm drop outs, & removable brake hardware. Torker is releasing bikes again, but 1 will be a true retro,1 will be retro style, but all new tech, & the 3rd will be cruisers

This does have the integrated headset and mid bottom bracket. I think though, this is not targeted at hard riders. More for the nostalgia crowd. That’s why I got one anyway…

These will fit upto a 2.2 for sure. We have a follow up video we are doing on these and we will find what the biggest tyres that will fit
