I honestly don't mind the idea (except for the sleep tracking, would probably never use that), but $100 US for an alarm clock is ridiculous. Even more expensive for us Canadians. The motion sensing (being able to snooze it just by rolling over or waving a hand, and having it shut off automatically when you get out of bed, and having it play relaxing sounds when you get in bed) is something you have to experience to appreciate.

I've always been Team Super Nintendo Switch, which sounds uniquely Nintendo, but have warmed up to Nintendo Switch 2, with respect to Sony PlayStation #. I hadn't even realized that Alarmo could be updated via internet, so I'll have to try that out-yes, having totally skipped that instruction manual! My favourite feature has to be recognizing if I've gone back to bed and, in its Nintendo way, telling me to get back out of bed. Thanksss Vic!

It’s awesome that you dug it! Personally, I just see it as another way to enforce their brand and to make sure the consumer doesn’t forget about their product. It wouldn’t be as bad if it wasn’t absurdly overpriced! Have a good one Vic!

The Alarmo clock is great haha. The screen lits up during the day and when it is darker it dims.

Kind of a throwback to game&watch type things nintendo used to make, neat to see in that sense. I'm kind of hoping nintendo keeps with the adding an "O" onto the end of naming things tho lol - "Alarmo" is such a dumb name lets keep it going! Nintendo Switcho 2o, docko stationo sold separatelyo, and suddenly nintendo turns into Ned Flanders 🤣

This is pretty dumb, but I'm sure the Nintendo obsessed will purchase it. I used to be a Nintendo fan, but I'm done with their products. They are a massive bully who threaten and sue anyone that gets in their way. They also have a lot fans that are fanatics who worship the company and attack anyone who criticizes Nintendo. Zelda Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask are two of my favorite games of all time, and I'll keep playing my copies on my computer (I own the original cartridges), but I won't be giving them money again in the future.
