Epic. I’m pretty much speechless dude. It just looks so on edge, so out there and you guys are so alone. Must’ve been such an amazing experience. Five stars!

Alaska really is another world. Absolutely stunning, always makes me think of life before humans seeing landscapes like this & how insignificant we are in the grand scheme of thing. Another amazing episode John, can’t wait for the conclusion. ✌️ Ben.

The landscape just keeps getting more and more dramatic as the series goes on. Thinking of the glacial ice caving in under your feet gave me chills. What a wild experience.

It's hard to believe that most of North America was in that glacier stage at one point. Thanks for putting this out man, you guys really did it.

I feel the need to comment on the fact that there is a layer of rock and talus on top of several meters of glacier snow & ice. My brain is kind of in glitch mode with that realization. Thats eons of terraform floating on top of something even older... brain still twitching

My first winter in Alaska was reality check. This isn’t the lower 48. Almost got eaten by avalanche climbing icicle falls on mt yukla. It’s no joke here.

No, he's just a hipster. It's a joke that these hipsters are compared to Skurka and other serious hikers and outdoorsmen. These folks are so self centered, making themself out to be so unique with hipster background music. Pathetic. And you all eat it up, even more pathetic.

Burnout Hippie you say this,but here you are subscribed to this channel. I don’t understand? Why all the hate? Hike your own hike. What kinda hippie are you?

@@sonofamountain2862 John Z is a great videographer and story teller. He's not a great adventurer. He doesn't blaze any new trails, he just talks about it on social media better than anyone else. He's pretty much the ultimate hipster.
@sonofamountain28625 жыл бұрын
Tom Vu the adventure is stepping outside your comfort zone and finding something new about your self and the land you walk on. He’s not blazing trails? Who is these days? We are all fallowing someone else’s footsteps,in one way or another. And have you actually watched some of these videos? The guy is always off trail,like literally lol. And who gives a shit if someone is a hipster or a dumpster monkey,that’s not what this is about. It’s about the land,it’s about the experience. John Z is a humble person,and inspiring as fuck.

@@sonofamountain2862 I dont understand the angry comments here man...john enjoys spending lots of time in the outdoors and spends time creating these interesting beautiful videos for us to enjoy. He also creates nice music to go into the videos to set the tone and vibe of the video. It's just wholly positive endeavor and I dont see the point in name calling or labeling in a negative connotation.
