As an Alaskan, I’ve never ever worn a dress here. If you love all weather pants, jeans, and men’s sweaters and jackets, Alaska is for you. It’s all about the jacket and the right boots.

Only the southeastern panhandle of Alaska is considered “rainforest.” Having grown up in Alaska… the rest of it is absolutely not considered a rainforest ☺️ Very SMALL portion of the state. That portion that the cruise ships hit isn’t a good representation of the state. If you go back you MUST go inland for sure.
