So you state that over the last 7 days 50% of patients who were admitted with Covid or from Covid were unvaxxed. What is the percentage of unvaxxed patients admitted FOR Covid? I bet you won’t answer? Also, why are you still using Remdesivir? Is it true that there is a 20% bonus given to Albany Med if a patient receives this treatment? Again, I doubt I’ll get an answer

This comment section never ever gets responses. The videos are posted by - likely an intern or 3rd party - and not maintained. I've followed this channel for over a year and have never seen a response or even a "like" to a comment. Even to just simple questions that are positive in nature, not just a comment like your attack on the post itself.

Oh nurses week. Are you celebrating the nurses you fired for not getting vaccinated. What a great institution you are

Interesting that you quote those negatives without mentioning all the programs that AMC had in place to keep employees on the payroll even when clinics were closed during the pandemic. Not 1 person was laid off, or put on rolling lay off. People we're actually allowed to use standby leave paid by the hospital. AMC took a huge financial loss to keep valuable employees. No other hospital can say that. When it's life and death. There is only one place to be _AMC.

@@dawncarolus7579 I guarantee you that with the incentives hospitals are getting for Covid amc did not lose money. My gf tested positive for Covid at an Urgent care I won’t mention. When she got to the hospital she needed another Covid test. Why is that? Does the hospital get a bonus for a positive test? Also, do you have an answer for the rest of my questions? How about Remdesivir? Not only does it cause Kidney and liver damage it’s not recommended after day 10 of the start of symptoms. She was on day 12 of the start of symptoms.

First, it is customary to run the test. No hospital takes results from another institution on faith. As for the other questions, I am not in the position of making those decisions. People can make decisions about their care according to what they are comfortable with. If you are afraid of Remdisivir, don't take it. As for firing employees, it wasn't only nurses, and the same thing happened at other hospitals over COVID vaccine, and Influenza before that.

@@dawncarolus7579 Thanks for the Covid test response. The problem with Remdesivir is that people trust the medical establishment at face value and most do not know the risks. Also, patients are sick and separated from family. They have no ability to make informed decisions and will always say yes to Remdesivir if they are told it’s the standard of care. I’m guessing you are an employee of the hospital. Thank you for your responses. I would like to hear more from your CEO on this matter publicly on this thread.

I must add that yes, in the past, patients followed Physicians recommendations blindly. In my 35 years in the medical field, that has changed. The majority jump on Web MD, or other medical sites as soon as they hear a diagnosis and quickly begin to debate the professionals on the path of care. People are more informed, but largely don't have enough medical knowledge to meaningfully engage in these debates.
