Why I really like Alberto Mielgo work,is that he makes his characters, real as if you can know their hesitation and intent in their action the way his characters act in such a flawed fluidity like is just so good

Actually if you watch the full video you realize the plan was to make the green goblin kill him like in the actual comic book, that was just a test or an alternative idea, Check until the very end where the full piece of animation gets shown

2:45 what intrigues me is how he gets this anamorphic effect without using 3d software. Look at the lines of the building edge and how it warps as if it really was shot through a camera lens, it's incredible how he does that in Aftereffects.

I love the storyboards by Alberto Mielgo. Pretty much everything here we see got made into the final film. I feel the storyboards and even the concept art was going in a more darker direction then what we got in the final film, one bit that sicks out to me is that the Peter from Miles world would have had a far more gruesome death by being vaporized collider. I like seeing the process in making films.

Unfortunately I didn't even know about those things up until I've read your comment. There's some footage on Reddit/Twitter I couldn't find the source of, which seemed to be nearly finished renders of the scene where Peter B Parker stands in front of the mirror. This footage is also included in the movie for split seconds, if you pause it at the right moment you can see it.

Most likely Maya for the actual animation clip he did, not sure about the storyboards, It might be storyboard pro by Toon boom.

@@goatproductions6435 Thanks for those suggestions! I will def look into them. I saw "The mind electric" music animation video by lonely man's and that is also in 3D software but with blender. Its interesting to see what software professionals/ industry use tho. I didn't acc know it was that common to animate in 3d software tbf tho it makes sense, esp with those crazy camera angles you get and the high action and the backgrounds. Really mad stuff. I gotta learn it man!

I totally would start off with Blender first then Maya. However that is optional. 3d animation is a bit tricky at times, however you will be able to get the hang of it. Practice makes perfect!
