Albion Online. In 3 days you will have to manipulate the black market, stock market and standed shop owners. first 8 hours is going to be efficient as hell. So dust off your advanced certificates in mathematics and start crunching the numbers before you activate your premium.

Still crazy to think that a while ago this game cost me 20$ to play originally. I left prematurely because i somehow didn’t see there was a premium service and i felt a little cheated, i came back after it went free to play and spent some of my gold from my starter pack to get another month of premium. Pretty relevant today. I am a new player. Was looking for a new f2p game. I don't know why I overlooked Albion when it came out (I must have been playing something else). I was a little overwhelmed at first so I started looking at your videos. I've played many open market pvp games before like Mortal Online, UO, EVE, etc so I kinda new what direction I wanted to head in. So I figured out pretty quick that you could naked portal to every city and check prices. This is invaluable to a new player. I discovered that materials in Lymhurst are selling way more than the other cities but crafted gear is selling less than the other cities (go figure). I'm based out of Fort Sterling as I wanted the best access to metal and wood since it's right next door. Tier 3 materials are selling more than Tier 4 currently. Sometimes as much as 50% more in some fields. I found out I could hang out in Tier 4 zones and find treasure chests that spawn in certain tiles (changes locations every day though) and I each chest dropped about 1k silver and several runes and tier 4 and tier 5 luxury goods plus all the dungeons that spawn usually dont have people in them and ill get a ton of combat fame, silver, and some items but not as much as farming chests outside in the regular world. They spawn quickly too. So far I have managed to do well only staying in blue zones. The blue zones almost completely circle the outer edge of the map except between the plains and the desert. There is one yellow zone if you want to risk it. For new players tier 1-3 is easy but once you hit tier 4 the game really opens up and shows its true colors and gets complicated real quick. I HIGHLY recommend the crafting gear and crafting tools because its faster than normal so people can't steal your nodes and they will try. Oh yeah and fucking horses. I spent ages trying to figure out how to MAKE a horse. I didn't want to buy one. Once I learned you HAVE to get 30 days of premium to buy an island to put your house, farmland to feed your horse, then pen for your horse then buying a baby and feeding it from your farm, I gave in and bought a horse and an ox with the promise that I would get my island and start making mounts soon enough. One day Ill get to Careleon but it is not this day. I'm letting all the big guilds move and settle on the new avalonian continent. However there are an absolute crap ton of new players and every city you cant see the NPCs but at least you can still click on them. So many people.

Great guide, thanks for your work! Just a side note though, treasure hunting is much more challenging with a lot of new F2P players. PK groups in outlands are actively looking for new/solo players that wander too far away from portals. Died 3-4 times myslef. So I would stick with gathering/crafting and black market.

I like the video because you mentioned that there are different methods to obtain the money, but every moneymaking guide involving merching/flipping is a big no-go for me. The prices fluctuate way to fast and people, yes like me, who know nothing about merching/flipping don't know which items to look for... It's also risky, as you mentioned, when you can't get rid of the items you bought. Would've been nice to see how you would've gotten the money if you did it through skilling of dungeoning since I already learned more than I would've imagined before the video ;)

I play to craft and if you dont keep up your premium you dont have an island which eliminates a lot of the crafting. I will dabble in it for a week of so see whats what. Just started playing this game today. Already made 100k in Profit flipping stuff on the markets. Tho I don't know what items are good to sell or the best places to sell them, anyone who can do Basic Math can make good money flipping stuff in the markets of any MMO with a decent economy and player base. This is like my primary way of making money in almost every MMORPG I've ever played. It's not hard, hell you don't even have to do any math what so ever most of the time unless you're trying to figure out how much your actually making off a trade. This game doesn't feel unapproachable at all. A bit over populated in the areas I've been, but so far it's simple. Also Runescape 2's market is even easier to flip stuff in since you don't have to worry about searching for better deals. The price shifts can be Heavy, so never focus on just 1 Item. Death & Nature Runes were pretty solid sellers last time I played. But I've also made a ton on Blue Dye before people caught on and flooded the market. Pie Dishes to, so many simple things people don't really think about till they see the price tag themselves.

The more new players (idiots/newbs) the more people there are to scam and flip their goods on the market. When I first started playing I just auto-sold everything because I didn't understand the buy/sell order system. I missed out on a lot of profit because I was selling things at 40-60% of the sell order value; but I learned that there's a ton of other new players doing the same, making the market very easy to flip. Also with the massive influx of new players as others have mentioned is they're fodder to the gankfest. Maybe PVP isn't advisable to new players but if you're very familiar with MOBA style games and can join a guild that will help you out in the beginning you can very quickly start earning serious income ganking newbs and running hell-gates.

I started the game a week and half a go. And like any other mmorpg out there, the key answers for money making is: get some basic maintenance moeny to sustain a basic setup and focus on something that gives good returns. I say it to all new guildmates: choose something and do it fullest, if your gonna get stone, go get your tier 4, get some food, a invis potion and jsut reap those maps.... you want to kill things? Get a good sustain mobile damage build and go faction flaged into dungeons and do one after another... you can literally do a good chunk of money with ANY "prof" in this game if you do it consistently..

Guys keep in mind that premium now cost 8.5mil not 4mil..... Also in 3 days 8h/day but he knows what to do if ur a 100% fresh need atleast 5 days (back then now its way more since 8.5mil...) So in General itll take u a week of alot hours grind only for premium.. I would say new player should not have premium as main goal its a sandbox mmorpg do what u want have fun. Premium should make Progress faster and more relaxed while u play and should not be the games main goal for nubs

As a noob, after trying to "beat" the black market, I don't consider it a consistent option. Because each item have 4 tiers and each tier has 4 different enchantment levels and each have 5 crafting quality, you'd have to know 80 (4*4*5) different "regular" prices for each base item.

Adept's Royal Sigil is big cheese since f2p launch, you can buy it for 15-17 k in starting area and sell it for 40 k in caerleon.

It is used to craft the top tear armor, but new players dont know what it is so market fippers scam you and buy it from new players at start zone for 9-11 thousand silver, then move back to caerlon and sell it there for usually 25 thousand, but sometimes it can get up to 40 thousand silver (if big demand). I came to albion with the f2p wave too and already made 300k silver by fliping these sigils in 3 days. I am used to abuse trading post in gw2 where its harder to flip, but here in albion its soo eazy to abuse the market system /:)@@薬物クシュロードバンディクート

Made my first 500k when I started by selling a lot of T2 bags to black market for 800-900. Easy money, buy from city's with cheap prices and transport it to caerleon. Since you can sell around 150 items at a time you can easily double your money, when selling at the right price.

By the time a player reaches Caerleon, why would he needs to buy a T2 bag? This market/AH is so mysterious to me... I don't understand how the economy is driven in this game :(

@@Hobbitude The bags are only for selling. The market changes depending on cities. Fort sterling has alot of ore compared to the other cities so there is a large supply of items created with ore. Meaning that on the market the price goes down meanwhile fort sterling doesnt have creatures you kill and skin for its leather. Meaning items created with leather are in very low supply, making it more expensive. Im extremely bad at explaining it, to sum it up More supply of items cheaper and less supply of items more expensive

Try to scout areas first , oxes aren't exactly that slow you can get away with gankers as long as you don't run head first into them . Avoid roads , use the spawning invincibility to move away from roads etc.... , But always leave enough over as a backup in your bank cause at the end of the day there is always going to be a chance to die .

There's a quest with the royal guard on any port you arrive. They give 1 now tho. And don't remember if tradeable

I tried to play Albion Online but mainly because I liked having your own place to go back to and be able to set it up. Really sad when I found out I needed premium for it. I could try to get it but it the amount and time I presume that is needed is just so...disheartening. Casual player so can't really chill much with the crazy grind. Just found about this video and I wonder if it will be able to help or not. I still don't feel like playing Albion, solo player mainly anyway so...oof.

@@hyunxzseu still not rip though. that is just a market force like with any other stock. buy low and sell high. even if people are flooding the market, you move one step above them. sell the items they want to sell to the market.

@@gravysamich It's rip now exactly because it works any way as other stock. Now there is 40+ people trying to flip items at the same time at almost any time, which in practice means you cannot hope to be consistently faster enough to buy items that are selling higher at the black market at a lower price because the demand increases instantly, so the price goes above the Black market selling price really fast. The market corrects itself just like real life stock arbitrage between two different markets for exemple, in that sense, flipping items is always zero sum.

im sorry, any video that tells a new player to go to the blackzone on day 1 or 2 is a BS video. You tell people to go treasure hunting but dont tell them what it is or how to spot anything. This video is also outdated on the price of premium. currently 1m is 7.3mil and 12m is 55.8bil ... not obtainable in 3 days for the standard person looking on youtube to find out how to make silver to get premium
