GT wings definitely improve track times but will make the car understeer heavily at higher speeds without a splitter to balance it out. I don’t track my S2K enough to warrant a wing. I love the look of the flowing rear end. I don’t want to break up the line from the genders to the rear deck lid with a wing.

The S2000 clutch is of very small diameter. Better try twin plate or carbon clutch. I ordered an OS Giken for the AP1 I had and it feels very good. LSD is easy fix, either rebuild or get a new Quaife rear diff with the extended housing. Get the Ohlins DFV coilover they are pretty good and not harsh in my opinion compared to Tein. HKS GT coilover is also very good for street. But remember to install roll center adjuster front and rear when you have coilover, makes a ton of difference in stability. The soft top ... just replace with another one :) Oh for brake try the Spoon monoblock, easy to maintain (uses Honda OEM pads and rotors), good enough for spirited street use.

That sucks about how much the roof costs to replace! Here in the UK its less than $350 for a mohair one. The holes in the roof will keep happening due to the frame putting wear on them, you can put patches on the frame to soften the edges and prevent wear
