Philip is AMAZING!! He performed at out school and I man it was MIND BLOWING! They have so much energy on the stage it's incredible! And they are all so nice and that just adds the cherry on top. They are all truly talented and amazing. But man you sound great! I love this song it's my favorite! ROCK ON MAN!!!

By the way, if anyone is attempting to learn it from this video, note that the low E string is tuned to E flat, and the D string is tuned to C sharp......i think.......

Wow. My strat and BJr don't sound this good. Maybe because I can't play like that! Really nice. BTW, what vintage is the Blues Jr? Are you using the Jr's reverb or a pedal? Thanks.
@BrianBadondeBaah13 жыл бұрын
great cover. had a go at transcribing this with a little help from your video, could you tell us where you got the backing track from?
@martlgr6 жыл бұрын
Hello mate. This is a long shot but seems like a question you might be able to answer. My cousin has a k series squire strat that he got in the early 90s but we can’t find any info on. It says made in Japan on the headstock but apart from that, we know little about it. Do you have any ideas?
@ArtGeek281715 жыл бұрын
like pantera steel said no way its Philip I never seen him play a guitar like that been a fan for six year he likes vintage guitars from the 60s

@Meltedsnake413 жыл бұрын
Do you have a music sheet for this?? You sound so good! It sounds just like like the original, even the reverb :D And why is Eb tuning required? Couldn't you just play every note half a step down and get the same sound?
@olalator15 жыл бұрын
yes sir)
@johnpecker197714 жыл бұрын
Does anybody know where I could find the backing track? Cheers

This is amazing. I have only just heard of Philip Sayce, so getting used to his stuff. Are there any other songs he's done that sound like Alchemy, as in slow tempo rock/blues? Not necessarily instrumental songs, any really.
@kevinb23662 жыл бұрын
No.
@Bobbelobben13 жыл бұрын
where can I find the backingtrack??
@JapanVintageStrategy15 жыл бұрын
actually i'm just playing the original track with TASCAM "MP-GT1" guitar trainer-MP3 player which has guitar cancel option..... you can still hear the original guitar sound floating here and there though...
@Smoothtlknwhtboi15 жыл бұрын

@ryanwallace84 haha nice, i was just thinking of learning this a bit.
@draycmf13 жыл бұрын
@BrianBadondeBaah I think this ain't a backing track; he's just playing (most of the time) right on top of sayce's guitar.
