Looks awesome, Paris is stunning, pigeons can sense fear so under no circumstances show fear or they’ll have you

make them fear you by hurling their stool into their stupid little faces ps: i am incredibly paranoid of birds taking a dump on me since in i live in the glorified pigeon nest called nyc and i have had pigeon stool go on my shoe and almost go on my head

Working in a kitchen is 60% cleaning 20% actual production 5% rushing in the morning And the other percent is either talking shit with coworkers or crying in the walk-in
@abubomom2
@abubomom2 Жыл бұрын
I’m one month in at a wholesale pastry kitchen and it has been so unpleasant with the coworkers! 😂 they have years of experience and I’m a newbie and almost no one shares tips everything I learn by watching and spying! I have a thick skin so I’m not crying in the cooler but I’ve seen atleast 3 people start and quit in the last month! I wish the old timers felt less threatened and would be more productive ❤
@everydayistheworstday1237

@@abubomom2 Dude, I am a senior who tries to teach my junior as much as I can that they feel like I am bullying them. I make them work even if they do not know (that is actually how you learn), and I will just guide them. But my juniors are lazy AF! They do not want to learn quickly and think, that learning is hectic. Obviously, it will be hectic as a fresher, we don't have time to teach you the whole year. You gotta learn fast and you can achieve this by 'start doing things that you do not know.' I had a huge argument with my junior a month back. The newbie kid was confused, I tried guiding, and then the confused guy started yelling at me because he was confused. TF? Now, I don't teach or guide him anything. Had removed myself from the same project to another. Then, the team almost fell apart and the newbies felt desperate and confused. Our client was not happy. 😂 so, my boss had to (without my will) include me in the same project with less involvement except when there is an important task that needed to be handled. Now, I look after 4 projects and my pay was raised thanks to the altercation with newbies. I swear, these newbies are noobs AF! Will never grow if you do not want to learn. For them, even thinking is hectic. They find creative thinking and imagining so hectic that they never contribute to anything new. Good riddance! The kid is still struggling.

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭NIV‬ ROMANS 10:9-11 “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame” Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭19:10‬ ‭ God wants us to believe in His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, who died for our sins :D When we truly believe in our hearts that Jesus is the Son of God, who died for our sins so we could have eternal life with God, we are saved from the eternal fire and have eternal life in Christ Jesus!! 💖 May God bless you all! 🕊💗 Jesus genuinely loves you, and always waits for you to come to Him 💞

I would love to, but I can’t afford it. I can’t go back to college to finish getting my degree because I’d have to pay off my $3,500 Pell grant first, before I’d be allowed to get more federal financial aid. I work in customer service and live paycheck to paycheck. I’ll probably stuck in retail hell for the rest of my life. I’m jealous of people like her

@@MS-we9gn I understand it can be tough. Financially some have an advantage over others for sure. If you’re quite young I’d still encourage you to fight, save, come up with a plan to pay off the grant, and get back in school to do what you love. Even if this means getting creative, getting some help, sacrificing a few extra hours of sleep, etc. I’m saying this because I have regrets. I’m in a position now where I’m reflecting on life and thinking why I thought there wasn’t enough time in a day when I was younger. There was more than enough time, I had the energy, I should have listened to my heart instead of worrying about what my family and society had to say. If you continue working hard I’m sure you can do this 💪🏼 wishing you good luck, success, and happiness. Work hard and make your dreams come true 😊

Maybe if you tell yourself that pigeons are just poor abandoned and starving former pets (which is true - as breeders don't care about them if they don't find home) you'll feel rather sad than terrified. They are actually not unclean but very smart, social and loving and don't carry more germs than our phone screens 😉

I love almond croissants, they are my go to item for when I’m at a new coffee shop and I don’t know if I’m going to like anything else that’s on the menu, I love them, they are the best.

I'm so glad that I'm not the only person scared of pigeons. Whenever I stay near a bus stop waiting, I just pray them pigeons ain't planning on flying off out of the blue. They bring mini heart attacks with them. I know it's weird but there's a story rooting from my childhood. Funny thing is, it's not even a pigeon that made me this scared 😅

Kinda wish this was my job. I like my actual job and know that all hospitality jobs are way less chill than they look, but being a baker/patissier seems so fun. And I kinda miss having that coffee on the job that you make yourself from the coffee machine.

french ppl sometimes expect their bread to be there at 7or 8 so many bakers who bake themselves and dont use frozen or premade start by 4 or 5 if they are a familly business. ppl are usually nice bc its their bakery they come often to but you get assholes too

I'm a French pâtissière. Trust me that's absolutely not fun. That's exhausting and people are often rude. Often paid under the minimum legal. Extra hours are not paid. Enjoy the pâtisseries but avoid doing that job.

To all the people in the comments writing about how sweet pigeons are: PLEASE remember that they do carry diseases that can affect humans as well. It gets worse in the cities because of tight populations and them having to get food from trash cans or something. You should never touch pigeon in the city, especially if it looks strange and/or sick. Ofc in doesn't mean that pigeons are intentionally evil 😅 or couldn't be seen as cute, but you should be cautious about them

@@OfficialPotato1 your reply may be ironic, but it is still true in some cases 😄 But I guess most people realise that potentially they can be infected by other people. I'm not so sure that is the same with pigeons, so the possible danger seems worth mentioning

@@zoic.mesozoic the difference is that humans have the ability to intentionally spread something to another human, whereas pigeons do not. It is very rare you would ever catch a disease from a pigeon even by touching or holding one. The most common way you would ever catch anything from a pigeon is by inhaling the dust when cleaning up their faecal matter, I suspect she won't do that on her way to work though 😂.

Just leave them alone and they'll return the favor. Humans are the most dangerous animals on the planet by a mile. Sharks, pigeons, wolves, bats, and pretty much anything we don't understand bear the brunt of our ignorance. Let wildlife be and everyone will be the better for it. I live in the suburbs, but love wildlife, so I notice the foxes, raccoons, owls, possums, chipmunks, flying squirrels, box turtles, woodpeckers, deer, and coyotes (actually wolf-coyote hybrids) who share our space and venture out when most humans are asleep. I've never felt threatened because I'm not threatening them and they have no need to defend themselves. Live and let live!
