Thanks for the video, it really helped. My Alero was making a very loud rumbling/grinding noise that coincided with the speed of the car, so I determined it was the wheel bearing hub assembly as the car had new tires and an alignment recently. I replaced it today and it was pretty difficult to get the knuckle bolts out without an impact drill. The hub assembly was rusted to the knuckle as well, making that almost impossible to remove. Battery powered impact drill is on my wishlist, for sure.

good video, do you not need to torque the axel bolt on? you torqued every other bolt. looks like you impacted it but how do I know how tight? Thanks for the video

hi Chris, what causes a wheel bearing to go bad. I've had 2 bearings on the drivers side replaced an one o n the passenger side, an now I'm getting ready to replace the drivers side , which will make 3. what causes the bearings to wear out like this within a year?

what's the length of the extension you used to torque the three wheel hub nuts?
@728641212 жыл бұрын
It's important to torque the axle nut as I do in the video, when the wheels are on the ground. I dont remember what the torque spec is, but sometimes the new wheel bearing will come with it.
