Alesis Nitro Max Demo

Played this earlier and recorded it from the recording so that the stick noises would not be on the video. This kit has great sound. I used a Klipsch blue tooth speaker for an amp.

You think the kit has great sound? If you seriously think that kit has good sounds, you probably never have heard an accustic drum set or a much better e-kit with superior sounds. The Nitro Max or just about any e-kit from Alesis is more of a toy to emulate a drum set. The Strata Prime e-kit is the only e-kit Alesis has that actually plays and sounds like a drum kit should, and the only e-kit from Alesis worth buying. You will have fun with the Nitro Max and learn the basics to drumming, but once you mastered it, you will want to upgrade it or buy a better e-kit so you can have all the zones and nuances of what an accustic or high-end e-kit can do. I get that lower-end e-kits are appealing since they are not super expensive. If you truly want to learn drums properly, you need an e-kit that functions just as a drum set should. All the cymbals should be triple zone, the toms should be duel zone, the hi-hat should be on a stand, and the snare should do rim shots, crossstick, and do all the correct sounds. A setup like that will allow you play just about anything, and if yo go to play an accustic drum set, it will be seamless without a relearning curve.
