I really enjoyed this live Q&A. The Strata Prime has been at the top of my list and this just helped to solidly that. I have had to use Alesis’ customer support before and I can tell you from experience that it is really good. Thanks to El Estepario & Alesis.

Great looking and sounding kit. Thank you for the presentation, although after watching the official video a million times i don't think it needed more 😊 It was great to see Estepario so chill and relaxed, answering lots of questions and demostrating the kits capacities. Alesis rocks.

I teach at a school for three years and the Alesis kits have held up for three years and those kids beat hard . 6 days a week 6 to hours a day.

Is there a way to make, say, the china cymbal sound, global? Or do I edit the cymbal everytime I switch kits?

Please Help I’m thinking of switching to an E kit exclusively because I cannot hear my acoustic drums through my in ears and Mics without turning the volume of the music up too loud and further damaging my hearing the bleed is too much even with custom in ear monitors and gunshot headphones over that When I’m just practicing I like to just sit behind the kit with no hearing protection any hearing protection I’ve ever used makes the drum sound crappy so I just play cold turkey. I can’t do this anymore my tinnitus is really bad. I’ve done that through my whole childhood. I’m 44 now I played on the Alesis strata prime at guitar Center, but I could only play on it a little bit with no songs to play along too just drums From what little I played on it I very much liked it Is it safe to assume that if I got an kit with headphones on playing music through with drum-less tracks that I would be able to hear much better and have better clarity and a better experience than my current set up with Drum and Mics what would be the difference between the two in clarity balance of sound with playing along to songs with in ears or headphones in your experience? THANK YOU to anyone for responding I appreciate it.

You can adjust the attack of each drum to cut through a mix and it works really well but as I own many acoustic drums and have owned several ekits over the years, I will say that this kit is my favorite one I’ve played on in many years but I would never buy and play an e-kit as my only driving kit. Definitely save up and keep your acoustic kits but I’d start with drum triggers on your current kit or maybe even a different pair of In ears that are more transparent.

Thank you for the reply pretty much decided on a Roland VAD 706 selling the acoustic kit. I can’t play it anymore. I don’t like wearing hearing protection, and when I do wear my custom in ear monitors, the bleed is too much. I have to turn the volume of the music up so much I’m blowing out my ears, I have hearing damage already. I’ve played since I was 11 with no hearing protection. I’ve got tinnitus out the ass, especially in my left ear with the electronic drums. I can hear the sound of the drums with much more clarity at a safe volume and play along to tracks like I like to do, thank you for the reply

@@johnfrith7884 awesome. I’m glad they’re working out for you. That 706 does look rad. The hi hat is awesome. Good luck!

"It's so simple that even a donkey can do it, And I'm similar to a donkey," Hahahahahahaha The one video he said "The screen is so big and good that you can watch porn on it," Hahahahahahaha I do want to hear him play, but this is funny too and he makes a lot of good arguments to why ekits are great...lol

We are having the same issues, did you manage to find a fix?
@mathewhersom4326 ай бұрын
Not really. Someone suggested when going through the hi-hat setup process to manually make the distance between the closed position and the open position father apart. You can try that but it didn't really work for me.
