But I also know exactly how she feels ❤ I've always been pretty flat chested while all my other friends we're pretty gifted in that aspect. And while they were getting attention from all the guys, even now still, I was treated as "one of the boys". I had to make up for femininity in many other ways. I think the best way to describe it is feeling womanly, instead of girlish. Feeling like a woman instead of an adolescent that hasn't hit puberty yet ❤ A woman is not her breasts, definitely not. However, I feel so much more womanly when I have more weight on me and curves than I do when I'm very skinny. I don't know if that makes any sense 🥲 I guess I just know how she feels ❤

i know highly textured breast implants are still the most common here in australia, but with all the information emerging about their risks of causing lymphomas (and the fact they’re straight up banned in parts of europe) it’s so strange to me that surgeons would even consider presenting it as a serious option for people

@@lululov619 Yes, I went for a consultation a number of years ago and the textured implants have been banned in Canada. I have lots of sagging skin and not much breast tissue. The Surgeon in Toronto told me they put them under the muscle almost always and a pocket is then stitched inside so the implant won't move. Unfortunately the cost was $15,000 and this particular Surgeon normally didn't have a payment plan, (but will make exceptions in some cases, no longer than 12 months though) so I began saving, however after being diagnosed with Lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, Tarlov Cyst Disease and fibromyalgia, I didn't want to compromise my health. If I had developed a breast implantation disease, how would I know considering I have too many autoimmune disorders now. It sucks My Sister has the most perfect pair of perky breasts and she's all natural. It's not fair 😂 I wish I were in perfect health because I'd have already had the surgery. Funniest thing is that my mom was naturally flat (she got implants way before I existed), and I ended up being a natural DD. So, she always jokes with me that thanks to my figure no one would ever doubt that hers is real. Hope this gives someone a chuckle if anyone reads it!

@@meinkanta not sure what you’re talking about saying “DD is not very big” and it’s “only” 5 inches additional circumference. 5 inches off your chest can be a little or a lot depending on your body size, which is why cup sizes don’t really mean “big” or “small”. It’s all relative to your body size & breast shape & volume whether a particular cup size seems small, medium, or large for your body type. That said, a DD cup size on a woman within a healthy weight range is generally considered large, especially as far as standard clothing sizing goes. Any larger than that 5” additional circumference, and you’ll have to start buying specialty clothing.

Just keep in mind when getting breast implants that some people need to have them replaced since the body can form calcification around them. You might have difficulty with mammograms in the future, but it can be done. Your doctor might recommend ultrasounds or MRIs in the future, depending on your personal risk factors for breast cancer. Always tell your healthcare team if you have saline or silicone implants, this will change the type of imaging you need.
@TsurenaiYoru2 жыл бұрын
I forgot to mention, a lot of times breast tissue expanders are placed prior to the implantation to pre-stretch the skin to prepare for the implants. These are UNSAFE for MRI exams! They will be removed when your implantation is complete, but while they are in stay clear of MRIs.

Just from experience, my mom's second go needed a revision because it didn't set right and now after the 3rd, both are calcifying and now she wishes she's never gotten them. Just be very aware of all the risks. I'm all for this for you, but just be careful, take great aftercare, and really pay attention to any medical changes that you didn't have before and after.

Thanks for sharing your journey and reasoning about why to get surgery. I know no influencer owes anyone an explanation for what they do with their bodies but at the same time so many female influencers have gotten plastic surgery (just about all that i follow end up getting a surgery) and I always have mixed feelings - which are initially negative, in regards to how women see their bodies as something to be fixed and how it might impact female viewers - so knowing the deeper thoughts behind the decision and how much consideration is put into it helps me understand other peoples journeys better 💕

Whenever I hear about your rhinoplasty going bad it breaks my heart, I can't help but relate to how hard it would be to have been looking forward to looking how you would feel more comfortable and then it ends poorly. I'm a trans man and I got top surgery last year and I can only imagine how painful it would have been if things didn't look how I felt it should. It could have gone poorly because I developed a large hematoma about a week after, but luckily my surgeon did an emergency surgery to make sure it wouldn't ruin my results, things ended up alright, but it was terrifying when I wasn't sure how it could effect my results. On a different note it's so fun to see the similarities and differences between a mastectomy and getting implants. I believe my top surgery was about $10,000 so even the price was similar haha. Anyway I'm super happy that it seems at least this went well and has helped improve your self image, because feeling comfortable in yourself is honestly one of the most amazing things

That is interesting, The drs in America are pretty against the textured implants. I am always interested in the process...if i were to ever do this, it would be the opposite. A reduction and maybe a lift. I have too much! 🙌🏻

You know if even US doctors are against it it must be bad lol. It's the same situation in Europe, the risk of cancer is too high. Saying that, we all make decisions every day that increase our chances of cancers. Eating too much sugar, smoking, birth control, drinking ect. So Alex can make an informed decision for herself.

Dude, I'm proud of you for going for what feels right to you!! To be advised, talk with them more about other options and ask them to be as blunt as possible to avoid hospitalizing lawsuits, there are certain implants that do not work with the body over time and there is a more expensive but safer method using stem cells from your spine to have the best long-lasting effects without chemical poisoning. I know this is a lot to read, but it is really important to know in case websites don't tell you.

I’m so glad to see your post…I went into consultation when I was 18…a few months before I had a burn accident. I had picked up a pan that was smoking and it burst into flames…in seconds my shirt was gone…I was home alone…I put out the fire with either baking soda or salt…I called my sister (this was before the 3# emergency system) she called ambulance and fire… my breasts were always uneven…the surgeon said he could do both a scar revision and a breast implant…. I am so glad I didn’t go with that option…it would have been silicon…

The happiness i seen in your face after you asked dan if that was okay for it to be so soon and he said that it was, you looked so happy and im sure before and after photos will show your happiness. Im so happy for you in your journey on feeling comfortable in your body i used to be so uncomfortable in my body because of excessive weight gain, but then i excessively lost that weight and in a sense it fixed my body dysmorphia. But i only had excessive weight gain and lost because of having gastroparesis

I am so conflicted. It's your body and you should do what you want and whatever makes you happy. But in the Netherlands the last few years there had been lot of attention for breast implant illness. There is a rise in women with implants who says they now can link the symptoms to that. Like, your health is so important. And I get that the feeling good in your body also is very nice. But well. Hopefully everything will work out for you!

On February 1st I had a pulmonary embolism and ended up in an induced coma for a few weeks. When I woke up, my breasts were much flatter than they were when I went in. Now I see why. The universe had to balance out Alex’s breasts somehow. And I am here for it. If it makes you happy and makes you feel better, good for you.
