Well, unless it's part of discovery, which they failed to comply with in the first place. Which is why they lost the defamation trial that preceded this -- this trial was just for the amount of damages to be awarded. The rules are: 1. Don't break the law *2. Cooperate with discovery* 3. If you accidentally send too much info to the opposing counsel, obey the law and follow the rules of getting the data back and/or destroyed 4. Don't let any deadlines associated with 3 above expire without doing your part

And jet fuel in 2001 is not even remotely like jet fuel in earlier years. It is literally just kerosine with an additive package to let it burn rapidly in a jet engine. For it to cause collapse when the fire peaked in seconds and had been dying for 30 minutes is ridiculous.

@@happytimeharry363 That ruling made sense. If you broke into my house and were attacking me and I shot and killed you during the attack, you are dead but I am the victim still. In a self-defense case, the jury is there to decide if the person claiming self defense is the victim or if the people who were killed were the victims. If the judge allowed the prosecution to call the people killed "victims" that is already assuming that Rittenhouse is guilty. If, as the evidence showed and jury found, Kyle was attacked and acted in self defense, he was, in fact, the victim and the people he shot were the perpetrators.

During the prosecution’s opening - Alex shook his head many many many times. I think it because he realized he paid millions for an attorney that merely brought a blank flip chart and the worst color marker to make an impact, less of all, be able to see. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL attorney.

They never argued that point. His lawyers chose not too. There are some great journalist articles on this case that lay it out for non-lawyers. Also, they did follow the rules on procedure and basically forfeited the civil trial.

You seem to be clueless about what free speech is. 1. Defamation isn't covered by 1A. Defamation is not protected / free speech. 2. Freedom of speech just means the government cannot take action against you for what you say. Free speech is not freedom from social, civil or financial consequences.

The people that sue Alex and raise kids that get shot because of how they treat others, don't understand their selfish behavior like what they are doing to Alex is like what their kids did to that boy that shot up the school. Actions have consequences same for Alex but these parents will never learn and more bad things are gonna happen because of this trial but they are so full of themselves

The rules are no food, drinking or chewing gum. And rules in a court room are to be followed. Why no gum you ask, such a small thing. Because people stick their used gum under chairs and tables or just throw it on the floor. So no, the Judge does not have "issues", you do. Apparently you don't like to follow the rules.
