Different countries have different terminology. In North America it’s called “roommate” even though you don’t share the actual room. It’s the equivalent of flatmate. It’s not that serious.

Yes it’s possible and there have been cases. Some come for experience but don’t care about studying anything.. so yeah you might be sent home
