There are plenty of cartoons this violent. Even not counting slapstick cartoons, there are cartoons like Axe Cop, Æon Flux, Superjail, and Metalocalypse. Invincible stands out because of the _contrast._ It's only violent around 10% of the time, and when it isn't, it's fairly grounded. But when it does get violent, it holds nothing back. That way, you never quite get desensitized to the violence.

Battle beast is such a Savage He's definitely in the comics is one of my favorite characters of the entire series. Battle beast manhandled Mark and the rest of the guardians that is super golden. It's just how much of a Savage he is I mean he gets even more hardcore later on in the comics and I'm hoping when the show gets to that point showing and I really how dangerous battle beast prowess as a fighter

You should really watch The Legend of Vox Machina. It's another mature animation, but fantasy. In my opinion, it's a far superior show to Invincible, even though I enjoyed Invincible.

@@the_enderslayer For me, Invincible had great highs with kinda meh moments in between. It wasn't consistently engaging, but knew how to make a great cliffhanger at the end of an episode. That lingering feeling of "wow" kinda disguised some lesser moments. From a wider character driven standpoint, I just find VM to be better. Especially if they nail the adaptation for the next two or three seasons, because holy hell, Campaign 1 builds beautifully.
