My two fave Steve Lukather solos are probably the two that he did on the “Faces” album by Earth, Wind & Fire. The tracks are “Back on the Road” and “You Went Away”. Give them a listen if you haven’t already 😊

Ooh yes thanks, great solos. You could love what he did on his own songs 😮 Incredibly powerful choices... kzbin.info/www/bejne/nIDTq3uXrc9_o6M He surely is one of the best composer of rock history... And great singer. And the best sideman ever. Check this bridge but you know it. Who do that? kzbin.info/www/bejne/d6vZeKyibb2DsNE Expression? 😮❤️

I think Luke stole some of his trem stuff from Jeff Beck. Yeah, Steve Lukather man... he's on so many recordings and he just lays it out there an plays with so much feel and smoothness and rock/jazz flavors. One of my favs, too.

Cool coincidence that you mention Rush Street. The music at my retail job died today so I put my old iPod on for some tunes. And i picked Rush Street that played on loop for the whole shift. Haha. I loved the album growing up and now that i have started playing guitar, it sounds even better!
