I have a 6 mm Jade Yoga mat.the Fusion I believe. I used it for 12 years probably 5000 hours of yoga on it. It is where I finally replaced it. It was a 120$ mat also. I really loved that mat. I do have 2 new Manduka pro’s now and I am really loving them too! I am thinking the pros may last longer though.

i've been looking for a "carrying over 60 minutes of walking" travel mat under 5 lbs and I think you're right, my old jade is perfect and under 5, but the newer ones are probably heavier.

Hello Alexia, can you do a review on the best Yoga mat towels on the market, please? Especially for closed cell mats like the Manduka Pro. Would appreciate that so much 🌻

Great idea! I'll add it to my to-do list :-)

I'm 6 ft tall and 300 lbs. I found this. Jade yoga have the model Fusion mat at 8 mm thick and the Fusion XW mat at 8mm thick, 28 inches large and 80 inches long.

I just checked it out! I see they say its their widest, thickest and longest mat. Looks like something worth checking out!

@@AlexiaKYoga you can also look the Elite S model. They made it for people who do vigorous practice like you. I don't work for Yoga Jade or any company. I just look for the best mat for me. Thanks for your work 😁

Thanks for all your review/comparison videos, I was wondering if you can compare the Kurma Grip vs the Manduka pro? Heard they come from the same factory and are really alike but can't find good quality videos about the Kurma Grip
@AlexiaKYoga3 жыл бұрын
Great suggestion! I have never heard of the Kurma Grip but it does look like a good quality mat. Ok I'll add it to my list :-)

Manduka's lifetime guarantee is for the lifetime of the mat which is considered 10 years. Which is still pretty good.

Yes indeed! I've had mine for just over 10 years and it's still perfect :-)

Yes, Manduka lasts and lasts. Just use a towel when getting into Warrior 1 in a hot yoga class, otherwise you might end up doing the splits!.

Manduka smells as it is a rubber mat. Do you know if Jade smells as well? Thanks!
@AlexiaKYoga3 жыл бұрын
Yes the Jade does smell at first as it is a natural rubber mat! Just make sure to air dry it when you first get it :-)

Would you recommend the Manduka Pro for hot yoga? Or which manduka mat do you recommend for hot yoga?
@AlexiaKYoga2 жыл бұрын
Javier as much as I love my Manduka Pro, I think you'll be sliding all over it if you take it to hot yoga. Unless of course you place a yoga towel on top. I tested the grip of all my yoga mats with dry and wet hands and you can check out the video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3K9cox7oqmJaK8 And so perhaps look out for the Liforme or the rubber Jade. But check out the video as I think it may help you decide :-)

can I fold the JADE mat 5mm?
@AlexiaKYoga3 жыл бұрын
Good question! You can, though I would recommend you roll it to make sure it lasts that much longer :-)
