Hi guys, I'm revisiting this video a year later and have a new recommendation for a budget-friendly mat. The brand is 'Yoga Studio' and their simple PVC mats are great! I still love my Yogi Bare mat when I practise at home but I've been using a Yoga Studio mat regularly in classes and highly recommend. So if you're in the market for a £20 mat, check this one out: amzn.to/3T4a6lg (affiliate link)

That was really useful, I have more of an exercise mat which think maybe to thick for yoga.

I'm glad it was helpful. Exercise mats seem to work for some people but I always recommend going with a proper yoga mat if you can :)

I'm glad I found your video because I was going to buy a thick, spongy mat. I thought they would be best but now I know they aren't.

Oh good, I'm glad you found the video too :) Thick mats can work for some people but generally they end up causing more trouble than they're worth.

6-8mm is the best for me as my knee hurt when having them on the floor for a long period of time.

What about manuka mats

I would get some Bluetooth earbuds and use one of them as an earpiece. That might get rid of that room echo and sound better. Thanks for the video.
