ENFPs have always been my favorite type. They just automatically make me feel 1000x better whenever they’re around because of their fun, optimistic nature. The other thing I’ve noticed is that if we haven’t had any contact for a long period of time and then meet up again it’ll be like we were never apart. They don’t forget about anybody. I wish there were more people like them on earth

That's very nice. Not a lot of people think this way honestly. We get a lot of flack for our authentic and blunt nature.

ENFP here. I’m NEVER late. I think it’s rude and shows a complete disregard for someone else’s time. I’m easy going but that’s one good way to annoy me.

I'm an ENFP and I made it :38 seconds in before pausing. I want to watch this video for its information.... but I got distracted by the comments. 1. Ne - Not committing until last minute is true for me, BUT if I do make a plan I will 100% follow through unless something catastrophic has happened. To me it doesn't really make sense for an ENFP to have both, last minute plans AND being late/skipping appointments, because that's the reason for committing last minute, because I DON'T want to cancel on you. Any appointments/meetings/time commitments stress me out. I can't relax until the time is over. I just know in my brain I have something to do that I committed to . This applies to going to the dentist or meeting a friend for a movie at a specific time, or giving an important presentation, it all feels the same. The only time I would risk being late is if the meeting wasn't important to you and I can sense that you aren't that serious or that maybe you would bail on me. I am sorry that there are unhealthy ENFPs that give us a bad name. 2. Fi -

Just wanted to tongue-in-cheekly point out that your comment wasn't finished either, so technically, you got distracted by the comments to comment, but then got distracted by something else XD Just a friendly jest, please don't take this too seriously haha. I'm an INFP, so i also absolutely relate to distractions, but, i think we xNFPs should look out for each other's blind spots and gently point those out where we can. (Please dont feel like you now have to finish your comment, if you dont want to, though.! This is *not* that.!) Have a great day!

I’m an enfp. Everything you said fits me. My unhealthy Te helped me to feel superior in my early years, but made me lose true friends later in life.

super motivating suggestion... "to stay on the cutting edge, share your vulnerable story" that is super helpful and to recall this value will help me "take the risk of slowing down (resisting stimuli) and nurturing self" thanks yall!

Another video painting ENFPs as super bubbly, which, yeah I can be excitable and fun in comfortable situations like with friends. I don’t think I show up that way most of the time and can be very defensive of my inner self in new social situations. I’m definitely not going around mingling with everyone. This is what makes it so hard to type, because based on stereotypes alone, I probably relate to INFJs the most, or ENTPs strangely enough depending on which side of my personality is coming through. Function wise, ENFP makes the most sense, but not relating to key characteristics of the type makes me think I’m either not one or I’m a failed version of an ENFP 😔

I feel exactly the same. It's ridiculous how strong this unreal stereotype is. I'm an ENFP and for a long time I thought I was an INFJ.

It's a paradox. We can be enthusiastic, but we're also wired to find the problem... which means we're also pretty cynical. I think we're a cool kind of bubbly... like it doesn't take much to delight me, but I'm also REALLY good at calling BS, especially when it comes to inauthenticity.

in particular very interesting was this analysis of the Ne Te loop discarding Fi when with other introverts or other types. Very accurate and helped me understand why I get EXHAUSTED when on a trip woth other extroverts going in too much Te Se Fe. Take care of your Si fellow ENFP's! Thank you for your videos Alexis

i'm actually incredibly particular about being on time, as well as being responsible and reliable, it's still always with other people in mind as a motivator, like i'm always thinking of 'oh i don't want to waste this person's time, i don't want to let this person down, i want to honor my promises, i want to be responsible and reliable and dependable'. i think the way i was raised and the way my life has been, plus having had a very very very close and healthy bond with my late-mum who was an intj, i'm a healthy enfp who has developed at a much quicker rate for my age. good evidence for this is that i'm described as being mature and grounded by everyone in my life even though i have the classic enfp energetic, optimistic, exciteable, in-tune-with-inner-child persona, and i'm described by everyone in my life as creative and emotional and a little loopy/eccentric and scatter-brained. it's super interesting how i'm for the most part the epitome of an enfp, but i have some well-developed features that fall outside the classic image of an enfp.

I am revising this wonderful video. I am putting things into perspective in my current life situation. I like the points that we brought up to be true to my feelings (fi) and deal with things that are weighting heavy on my mind for years (si). To own up to mistakes and definitely get a planner.😊 Thanks for your insights on ENFPs. This video helps me realize I could change for the good. 😌

Hahahah FOMO time management accurate!!!!😂😂😂😂😂 when we are younger as we age which I’m 40 so now it’s more like my brain is gone it’s allll schedules now and I have so many schedules with kids and yeah ESFJs can make us show up on time also ESTJs…. We will then resent them hahahaha but, they see through our crap as we see through theirs… and for whatever reason and there’s a lot of ESXjs in my life now as I’m getting my Si finally together… my mom is an ISFJ and dad an ENTJ so Si and Te we’re like beaten into my make up too so I might just be a weird ENFP. Hahaha yep planners schedules visual schedules and marrying an INFJ is a good plan if you’re sensitive like me…. Brave ENFPs marry INTJs I love INTJs but I’d cry a lot more 😂😂😂😂😂😂😊😊😊😊😊😊.
