Entire squads of scouts, in-house analysts and coaches can get it so wrong time and again. All they really do is put on savant airs, claim fraudulent competences backed by phony stats to justify their dollars, and buy the hype.

Top 5 Worst trades in NFL history. Im not saying that Bryce Young just never had a shot. He would have just not with the Panthers. I originally thought that Carolina gave up a 1st and DJ Moore for Young. But a friend had to correct me that Carolina gave up 2 firsts, a Second, and DJ Moore 😮😢😢

Bryce Young is like any mid or low quality QB. He requires almost elite talent around him to succeed. I know people said he elevated the players around him at Alabama but I don’t think so. Even though the players around him weren’t as good as some of the previous QBs, like Mac and Tua, they are still Alabama players, meaning they were still really good. It does appear the players around him elevated him and covered up his very obvious weaknesses. I would be curious how Bryce would have done at a lesser school with worse talent around him.

No, his height limits his ability. They realize this fact. No matter how much time they spend on him. It would be a loss cause. They know he is a bust. But tepper some how ignores those facts and insist to go with the Bust.

Bill Parcells once said he only wanted qbs 6'2' or taller, and that played 4 years. The 4 year thing understandably had to change but just to use a round number to prove my point and his. Only 2 qbs under 6'2' have won a SB in the last 40 years. Russell Wilson and Drew Brees. You'd think if it took me only 5 min to research this, an NFL GM would have enough time to figure it out.

@juanmikel7507
@juanmikel7507 Сағат бұрын
Baker is 5’11 not 5’8. Russell was more mobile coming out also taller than him lol. Kyler is so gifted throwing and also mobile. The one thing Bryce had going for him was his game IQ and somehow he seems to have lost that too
@Wiggy_ton
@Wiggy_ton Сағат бұрын
Russel and Kyler leave the pocket a lot more because they are faster and more athletic. Baker is taller and like Brees is willing to stand in the pocket until the last possible second. One thing this video showed me is how bad Bryce foot work is. He throwing it off balanced like he has a rocket arm and he doesn’t. He didn’t get hit often in Alabama and that also shows

Height clearly is not the main issue, as Kyler Murray is really good at the same height. What has not been there for Young is the coaching to help him minimize the downsides of being small. Or Young simply is not able to change. Benching him makes sense, because there is no point watching him suck and losing his confidence. Canales can try to coach him to be better and without the weight of the franchise on him maybe it helps. The Panthers are a disaster of a team.

Can you do a vid explaining why 5'10'' is this crippling disadvantage for Bryce Young yet this same height isn't a crippling issue for Kyler Murray or Russel Wilson (he won a Super Bowl and went to a second)? How one inch is the difference between a mega bust with an 18 game career and the HOF career of Drew Brees.

@PanthersAdvice
@PanthersAdvice Сағат бұрын
Kyler's got a couple (natural) traits that Bryce doesn't have. That is speed and arm power, so when KM can't see he can make a play rolling out and letting it rip down the field. KM also played baseball, so it's almost second nature the way he can roll out the pocket and throw a pass... Just like a short stop would to first base. However if you watch Bryce Young very rarely are his hips open on the run. Majority of the time, you'll actually see him do the opposite and that's when his throws are over thrown or just lobs.
