maybe not if we spread volcanic ash in the oceans then the algae blooms will sequester 35 gigatons of CO2 per year. Also we can have algae farms near the oceans to sequester another 10 gigatons per year. We can then use flu pipe CO2 from burning coal to sequester another 15 gigatons per year.
