48 yo going back to school. Stanford med students are point on. Didn't learn a thing in the 80's in high school, worried that the teacher would call me to the board.....Yikes....!!!! Thanks for your special teaching and love for what you do. My wife tells me, "Minus one" all the time..... Keep up the good work.

This guy got me through high school and now college. No other professor has managed to stay so nice when you ask what others may consider a “stupid question.” I see my peers get yelled at constantly for asking questions BY THE TEACHER for not knowing stuff. I love this guy

Messed up thing is because i went to an inner city school...... We never learned this and these kids out here learning this in high school. I didn't learn this until college. This is why i would always choose private schools for my kids....if i had any🤣

square root of a square is not the number. The square root of a square is the absolute value. (a + 4 )^2 = 49 sqrt [ ( a + 4 )^2 ] = sqrt ( 49 ) abs ( a + 4 ) = 7 so a + 4 = 7 or x = 3 the other solution is - ( a + 4 ) = 7 a + 4 = - 7 or a = - 11
