Glad you’re enjoying the bow! As the friend that is still eating humble pie, I pick up the Kheshig much more than my 50#+ horn bows. absolutely agree for beginners or those new to thumb draw to start with a draw weight you are comfortable with that makes you want to spend time on the range rather than making it feel like a chore.

I love my Kheshig, I bought mines after seeing Armin review on it and following videos. He couldn't stop talking about how much of a joy it is to shoot and a lot of the bows he liked the more than others, he'd mention "it's not Kheshig". So bc of such praise I bought one about a year or so ago. Its my fav bow in my collection. Its such a great bow and feels so good to draw and shoot. Nice review as always.

The montage of shooting at the various distances was great to watch.

This was my first and currently only laminated bow. I've had it for 3 years now, and I absolutely love it! In terms of looks, none look better to me 😁 The only problem i had with it is that decorative layer on the handle. All Alibow bows have them, but they can delaminate. Happened to me. It still works great, but just goes to show how that layer could be done by just having a thicker handle. No need for that glued on part.

I usually don't like getting multiple similar bows - I prefer that each of my bows be unique so that each is a new learning experience. But goshdang do I find myself wanting both the Kheshig and the Nokhor. They are both such incredibly nice bows.

Can you get your hands on Alibow's Nokhor?

I think you may be close to Zenhood with bows. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Better then a Simon's Raptor?

No. The Raptor is a Superior bow

Raptor is still a better bow. It's designed to be high-performance - it has light want but more balance and punches out arrows better. But it's also 3x the price of a Kheshig.

I have a 45# Keshig and I find it makes a noticeable "pang" sound on release. I am assuming my arrow weight isn't high enough? What would you recommend?
@00raiser169 Жыл бұрын
Alibow recommends 12grain per pound for the Kheshig so that's 540Grains for your arrows if the bow draw weight is 45pounds. I also own a imperial version of the bow @50pounds and tested with lower weight arrow weighing at 500grains and even 540. the feedback of the bow tells me it needs heavy arrows for the bow ,when the arrows are released I get a very strong snap with a glass "panging" sound like you describe and the shock and vibration from the bow to my bow arm is very substantial so I switched to the recommended arrow weight which is 600grains for my bow and that made huge difference in reducing noise,shock and vibration and the release of the arrow feels a lot smoother and not to snappy. personally from experience I would not use the arrows below recommended arrow weight by alibow.

If you need an easy way to add weight you van add weed wacker line that's the lenght of the arrow inside, it's a good way to add 10 grains
