About the shortcuts: Deleting words can be done also with the key 'Delete'. You don't need to navigate to the end of the word in order to delete with ctrl+backspace if you're already in front of the word. In that situation just do ctrl+delete. Basically pressing ctrl changes most shortcuts to "word mode" vs "character mode".

I love this video. I tried his keyboard shortcuts. They’re amazing. Ctrl- backspace deletes entire line, while shift- home - backspace delete single word. 😊

I started practicing daily, and I'm thrilled to say that I've already progressed from 30 words per minute to 70 words per minute! I honestly didn't expect to see another video from you on typing so soon, but I'm grateful to have found it. It's always so refreshing to learn new techniques and hacks to enhance our skills. As a 170 wpm typist (speed typing for 3 years) I have to say these are solid tips. Personally for me, it's been all about accuracy and proper "form" using all fingers. I don't look super fast with my fingers like many other fast typists, but I have very close to 100% accuracy all the time and use all 10 of my fingers. It's a painful when practicing, but focusing on accuracy before speed and making sure every key press is right will definitely help in the long run.

@@amirtorhan2762 60 sec test?
@amirtorhan2762Ай бұрын
@@ivan06pr @ivan06pr I do mostly short tests, as I believe that's more similar to how we type in our daily lifes. Mainly 30s (173) and 15s (184) tests on monkeytype. But my best 60s ever is 164. But it will be significantly slower if the test has more difficult words or punctuation. To increase your speed it's really all about getting very comfortable with the keyboard and typing all the words you use very often until it's so deep into your muscle memory you don't even have to think when you are typing. It's like most things in life, it will require a lot of time and effort from you, if you really want to improve.

Hi Ali, I appreciate all the valuable content you create on productivity. I noticed that your new mechanical keyboard is priced at €149. While I’m sure it’s a quality product, I feel that there are many similar keyboards available on platforms like Amazon for a lower price, which might be more accessible to a wider audience. I believe your main goal is to enhance productivity, and making products more affordable could help more people benefit from them. Just a thought from a loyal viewer. Keep up the great work! 125 WPM here! Trying to get even higher though. I want 150. I could type 70 - 80 WPM consistent before, but I was not typing with the correct methods using all of your fingers. Practiced for about one hour each day for two weeks or so and got my typing speed using the proper method from 20WPM at the start all the way to where I am now. I think the real test for your speed and accuracy is typing intermediate sentences, that include punctuation and numbers. Probably special character too, but mostly just normal punctuation. Just typing words is not a good indicator of how fast you can type. We all type sentences and that's where everyone wants to be fast at doing

I can't stand swivel chairs, which most office chairs are. I find that my back hurts more with them. I grew up a figure skater, who jumped one way and developed back muscles that are quite lopsided, so when I sit, I find that I have a tendency to swivel towards one side or sit to one side of the chair and my mid back hurts by the end of the day. It's really hard to find an office chair that does not swivel, though... especially one that is otherwise adjustable.
