So many great tips today! I especially liked the idea of highlighting weeks you are not available, for whatever reason. I realize more and more that those visual reminders in my planner are important for me. Thank you for walking us through your process this past year. It was so helpful!

The hand sanitizer mark is very “Ali” of you and so endearing lol ❤️ Reminds me of back in the day when you were the chic sparrow tester of “patina potential” 🤣 I’ve been a long follower of yours and I’m so grateful that you still share your love for planners and journals. Love everything you share though ❤

So I love your videos!! But wanted to say that I use the common planner also and was worried about going through the pages too fast at first also since I journal as much as you do ha… so at the first of every month I figure what day number of the year it is versus what page in the back I’m on to see if I’m around on track since there is technically a page per day worth of pages. It’s just part of setting up for the next month for me now.. Some months I have to cut back and some months I have extra pages to use but it came out perfectly for me this year! Also wanted to note that your old videos from several years ago is what got me into journaling and I’m so grateful! So thank you for that!

I used to be so much better at tracking my pages that way but stopped when my little crises happened this year. I will try to be better about that next year. Thanks so much for sharing that! And THANK YOU for your kind and generous comment about my video. Made my heart fill up today! xoxo 💛

I’m such an A5 girl, and it’s been hobonichi for years, but to see Sterling Ink give me the option for my fav size and in a horizontal format?? So excited! Hopefully they will come back in stock soon. And I love all you share and you keep this community alive. XOXOXO

I just ordered this planner. I loved being in a Weeks but it just wasn’t beefy enough. Went to A5 last year then to Travelers monthly, weekly, daily inserts these past 6 months. Hoping to fall in love with this one!

This was sooo helpful! I’ve been back and forth trying to decide what to do… I got an A5 Common Planner for 2025 because I was in her B6 for 2024 and used it all up. But now that I have the A5 it’s really heavy to carry around when out & about…. Sooo today I put the N2 in my cart because I love your set up (I used Hobonichi Weeks for a few years) and because I think the Weeks size would feel like home….but I’ve not committed yet … decisions decisions. Thank you for this video!!!

At the start of last year I took vellum post it tabs and place them at the top of my N1 planner, just barely sticking out. 31 pages, 29 pages, 31 pages, 30 pages and so on for each month. I can still use however many pages I want/need but I had a visual for how many pages I was using in a month. Now in December, I am almost spot on for finishing at page 365. (365-369 were my pen test pages)I will have just a handful of pages left over- or maybe not….

What are those rectangular brass tab page marker things called? Not the book darts, but the other ones? Love those!
I'm curious about why you wouldn't just continue using the same journal until you use up that second half of the pages? Or if you really do switch journals... what will you do with those empty pages in this one?

It's a planner with note pages that I have just started using as my journal space. For 2025 I will move on to the next book and I have vowed to use more pages. I plan on still using the pages for my book notes of books that I started in 2024 but perhaps didn't finish. I'd like to have the notes all in one book.

I made the same decision! I always keep my planners because they tell my story just in a different way than journaling or memory keeping SO I decided to combine Memory Keeping and Planner also this year in an A5. I do think an A5 Common Planner would get way too heavy. So I will use a plain A5 planner.

I am also a notes pages hoarder so that made me laugh😂. How do you feel about going from an N2 to a B6S? I’m contemplating the same switch and am having a lot of trepidation.

I haven't actually used the planner yet, but I was in B6 Slim for many years so I think it will feel like home to me. I'm going to use it for all of 2025 and if I decide I like the weeks size better, I can always go back in 2026. :)

I love your planner. Why are we stressing us out about left pages? You used so much. Be proud that you used them consistently. And i got one question: You have to get bloodwork to get married? Really? Why?
@AliBrownie10 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching! To answer your question, I don't like waste. So that's why it concerns me. I'm sorry you perceived stress. It was more shock that I had that many pages left. I'm not stressing about it at all. It is what it is. To answer your second question: In Montana, in 2002, yes, women had to get bloodwork to get a marriage license. I don't know why. Did a quick Google search and found this article: www.greatfallstribune.com/story/news/2019/02/16/montana-end-premarital-blood-tests/2891538002/
