My greatest fear is that someone will try to make her more contemporary and not realize that doing so would be gilding the lily. They used to be called "Torch Singers" and they were all HOT! Watching any of them was like watching a one woman play. Peggy Lee was a goddess and any song she did had something special about it. Her phrasing was unique and gave a different meaning and perspective that made you gasp. Alice needs someone who understands her unique ability and will help her continue to develop her voice and persona.
