I was there! Incredible show. And they totally caught us off-guard with this song - I thought it was basically retired like a lot of the Layne-era songs. William does a great job carrying the torch! Side note about that part at the beginning - Jerry was having some technical difficulties with his guitar, so the tech brought him another one. And then it happened again. So this was actually the third attempt to play the song. Kind of on point if you’ve seen the Unplugged shenanigans

This song's cursed! Layne fucked up the lyrics, also during unplugged it took like 6 or 7 times to get it sound good, and i saw another video where william fucked up lyrics

Dude, if anyone is the core of AIC it's Jerry Cantrell. He writes all the songs, he writes all the riffs. Don't forget that AIC's vocal harmonies had two parts, and Jerry was half of it. Layne Staley was a once in a life time talent with an incresible voice that will never be replicated or replaced, however, 3 members out of 4 of AIC are original members. William Duvall is very talented, and he wrote a few of their new songs, and the 3 albums they've put out with Duvall have been great. They still have the vocal harmonies, they still have the killer riffs and solos, and they still sing about real stuff. They're still Alice in Chains. And Layne would have wanted nothing more.

I agree with everyone, but it’s 2 original members. Mike Starr was part of facelift and dirt at least. Also I like mike Inez and respect what he’s done for Ozzy Osbourne and Alice In Chains!!! ⛓️ 🎵 😎
