Dear Alicia Keys, I don't know if this even applies, but I'm 72 years old and have grown so much in the past 10 years due to a heart attack in my 50's and breast cancer at 62, losing everything but my name after building for more than 40 years. Which I found that when I had nothing left to give there was no one there in return. Listening to you has been the hight of my life, I have learned so much from all that you are. Yes! I now I'm old enough to be your grandmother, but you are pretty awesome. I'm what is called a Heyoka from birth and life has been hard, but most rewarding. When I started listening to you on youtube in the time now, I can't believe how many skins I have grown out of... Thank you so much and I thank the Universe for someone like you, Julie P.S. Please continue what you do, there are many women out there so lost and no one road to follow and feel lost about themselves... Keep up what you are doing.

I am a 73 year "young" man and I can relate to the idea of doing something I want to do and just do it by myself. I've been planning a trip to a major city like New York or L A., Los Vegas, San Francisco and Washington DC. I have been worried about having someone to share the experience with. There is no significant other in my life and thus far I have not taken any trips at all. As of this moment I am making plans to go to New York for a week. By myself. Thank you Alicia Keys.

The first self love song I've ever heard was Epiphany by BTS. The second was I Love me by Demi Lovato. I think that these kinds of love songs should be much more popular in our culture. Songs that help to Grow the relationship with ourselves instead of encouraging us to always focus on everyone else.

I love her view on assertiveness and opposing energies. I am a cancerian and very fiery and defensive about things that I truly care for and love. My emotional side just urges me to speak up and I simply can't keep quiet. I often come across then as not so "feminine" because I take a masculine approach to things : If I were to stay silent, nothing woul ever progress! We must defend the one's who don't even know how to defend themselves, who feel that they deserve to the oppressed and so on. I need the dynamic to SPEAK UP and shake things up a bit. I do not want to apologize for that quality in me, ever again. Thank you Alicia for being an advocate of freedom!

💖😆 first one she says - about listening to love songs and singing it to yourself, I been doing that now a few years, always done it with my children, so for instance Sade - by your side, that's my son's song, Etta James at last, that song is to all my children and how they made me feel when they was born and the love they brought me 💖💖💖 what I also did as part of my self love journey, and what really worked so well for me, was when I also started treating myself as my own best friend, as I was going thru life and a lot of traumatic events, I felt so trapped in the circus of my life I couldn't find my way out of the darkness I was living in! So I started talking to my self like I would with my friends, I removed myself back from each situation and said - ok imagine this is my friend going thru this what advice would I give to them regarding it? 🤔🧐 And as I started to live like that and treat myself like my own best friend, my life changed for the better, I broke up with my ex the father of my child, and you know he treats me with so much respect, it's quite an amazing experience, that once you put your boundaries up and be strong in love with yourself, people can't help but respect you and life changes up!!! Also remember there's a huge difference between self love and selfish! One love ❤️

You know: SELF is just an accumulation of believes that we carry around. It is not US. We are bejond this self made self. When we grasp this, we can detach from so called "faults" and recognize them as just paradigms. We realize that we are so much more than "Self", the real US is so much greater. So when you get up in the morning, tell your"self": "What am I going to be today?, what role am I going to play today?, how will I let "self" feel today?, ... and so on. Take charge of your own "self" and the paradimgs it consists of and play with it. Create the life you want to experience. :-)

My fav tip from alicia was #7. I can relate to embracing my feminine and masculine side. I’m more feminine driven than I am masculine naturally and that’s not because I’m a woman. My birth chart is majority feminine and physically in my everyday life I am. That’s so cool she mentioned that, because I was thinking about it in her earlier tips. A woman can be mostly masculine or a man can be mostly feminine it just depends on how they express them selves.

Its a natural things for one to be balance. Our system stereotyped people in different categories, we grow to adjust to. Nature build in us to understand who we are, without acting macho, or feminine. corporations seen the opportunity to separate it, buy watching how people were designed in the past. Is one reason we got stuck being in one box. When one cook food, change a baby diaper, do all the things to show love, respect, to the community, and people who come in their path, is both parts being display. because we had spend a lot of time with our mothers, when we were young. Macho and feminine is just a stereotype game like every sports game, against each other. Had created a design we learn to dislike because it program the mind to function out of out character, who use it to control our natural selves never understand the truth. All the other stuff were nothing but a create system thing, to play with people minds, the same way with relationships, to trick one mind to think they do not suppose to function by themselves.
