I've told my girlfriend we can wear rings and she can change her last name, but I'm not signing any paperwork. I love her like anyone else loves their spouse and marriage won't make me love her more or less. However, While I love her, no one knows how things will be 10-20 years from now, people can change. All marriage does is make things more complicated. If statistics say that 50% of marriages last, it's not worth the coin flip.
