I'll still play it. At the very least it looks like people who made it did give a fuck, and tried to do smth great, as such it doesn't look like some cashgrab that's devoid of soul and is full of microtransactions, you know, what people were convinced Blackout will turn out to be, and those who haven't played it still do think of it that way.

Gotta say, i need to replay the AvP game from 2010. I spent way too much time in the multiplayer of that than i'm willing to admit haha. Tho regarding Alien Blackout, i only ever tried it for 20 minutes or so. Is there any interesting story bit that makes at least worth reading up on online?
