@@conatchaXenomorphs are too dangerous, and almost everytime they are depicted, it is almost impossible to tame them. There are comics and novels where they depict them tamed, but I hate the whole harvesting people for them

What makes this even worse is it's Ripley's worst fear. She's not an unsuspecting victim that's been implanted. She knows exactly what's going to happen to her. Her constant nightmares in Aliens are now reality. Heartbreaking scene. She's doomed.

I remember watching this in the theater in 1992. I was upset enough that Hicks, Bishop and Newt were lost. This was the final nail in the coffin. But I can say that Ripley fought relentlessly to kill both alien beings in the end.

Didn't care that Hicks and Newt weren't a part of this movie, in fact I liked it (even though it was the actors not being available). There's no happy endings. It's like all of you missed the point of Alien because of James Cameron fucking up and changing genres for the sequel (Aliens is a good movie on its own, but the Xenomorph is scary when it's unknown, not reduced to a generic alien for HOORAH MARINES to fight).

It's fine, Aliens was the canon ending guys, just ignore the ones that suck and ruined the original 2. That's how we Star Wars fans do it when sequels ruin a beautiful origin story and essentially shit on it.

For years I had this on VHS and it was pan scanned and they had cut off the aliens head and you could not see what they were seeing.

Yep, I remember that, I still have the VHS. The format slaughtered the whole movie. You can even see some scene expanding or shriking when there is a fade from an scene that needs the whole space to other than can be cut by the sides.

It's not that big a plothole. People bich about it, but come on. The queen was in the sulaco unknown to the crew for who knows how long. We never see how many areas and compartments are actually in the ship, and by the time the crew was going into hypersleep, how long had they kept awake? Could have missed a semi hidden egg in the shadows behind space gear because of the lack of sleep.

I’m colonial marines it was established it was trialed to grow the Xenomorph in the host and remove it. But the umbilical cord from the Xenomorph to the host attaches to multiple organs and if removed it acts like a cancer and causes the organs to shut down slowly. So going by that lore it’s not possible to survive this at all

Probably not - the embryo integrates with other internal organs of the host in Alien lore. But even if it could, there's no facilities to remove it on Fiorina, and no doctor. Plus... she knows all traces of it have to die. A horrible fate, but one which she embraces with dignity.
