The hype seems real with this one. Went from being a piss poor sequel on Hulu to having Fede involved then Ridley with the money. I know Alien and Aliens word for word. This gives me the excuse to watch them again lol.

0:32 Prometheus is actually my third favorite in the franchise so far, I think it's hugely underappreciated by fans. Yes, it has some silly moments and characters make dumb decisions, the writing for that film is probably one of the weaker aspects of the movie, unfortunately. I think Ridley's direction was fine overall but with a better script he could have elevated this movie to even more greater importance. But what I love about sci-fi films like Prometheus is the whole exploration aspect, you are with the crew exploring the unknown and I love it. Also, the film looked visually stunning (same can be said about Covenant). Can't wait for Alien: Romulus, from what I heard so far this seems promising and expected to be an absolute thrill ride, I could tell just by the trailers that this movie is probably going to be the best Alien movie since Aliens and that is saying something, I pray that is all true.

I do think the Cinemark Xeno popcorn bucket does look awfully similar to the Xeno from Covenant, it's not entirely the one from Covenant. If you look closely at the tv spots and trailers of the Xeno's front teeth, there's an ingrown tooth that's actually featured on the Cinemark popocorn bucket.

The lore, for sure men the alien world its super interesting definitely worthy of expanding. Ridley did great adding bits to it and still left it ambiguous as f@# and i liked that i dont think he didnt know what to do, i think some of us did quit catch Prometheus and because of that he said screw this they want aliens ok ill give them freaking aliens and still fans hated it for gods sakes. Now a balancing the lore, the action & the aliens its what we need and apparently Fede did exactly that❤

Im SO HYPED to go and see this movie. Alien was my introduction to true horror movies, and the beginning of an obsession. and because it was so damn good, everything else has been kinda underwhelming. this will be AMAZING to see. Covenant was just okay.. and prometheus was shit, so this will be SUPER refreshing. I was really relieved to see all of the outstanding reviews on this movie.

Hey 3C my low bar expectations are it’s good Allen sequel because likable protagonists which is needed otherwise I have no desire to see any of the unlikable human characters survive, also well done suspense with multiple Xenomorphs that look equal to the Xenomorphs in Alien and Aliens.

It looks like in some of the BTS footage we will be seeing the "Praetorian" Xenomorph that was originally in the script for Aliens. The Praetorian is a white Xeno that makes all of the organic style Giger-esque flesh like substance that traps the humans, which a queen would lay her eggs in front of so they can hatch facehuggers. Instead of a longer mouth within a mouth, the Praetorian has a long proboscis that protrudes from it's primary mouth that sprays the resin. They cut it out of the script for Aliens, so its nice that it may show up BEFORE Aliens chronologically now.
