I’m quite impressed with the Colony scenes. Like you said it’s very reminiscent of Coruscant or rather, old school scifi where it looks lived in, very Blade Runner as well. It definitely earned its place in the scifi genre based on the trailer alone.

If you slow down the "chest xray" scene, at around 4:10 you can actually see the chestburster break one of her ribs!!! I can't wait to see this scene. I hope it is beyond gory and just completely insane!

Alien 2 and the Alien toys and all the Alien comics really gave me true nightmares as a kid when Alien was still horrifying and scary. Sadly, Hollywood ruined the Xeno, and I hoped one day they would bring it back to horror

I have a theory that there might be two or three different xenomorphs going after the crew? I might be wrong though

I'm guessing that maybe Rain's parents or other colony members were abducted by Weyland Yutani and used in their experiments aboard the orbitting station

I wouldn't go that far. I believe they are group of young adults fed up with colony life. They don't wanna toil away on the same world their parents did. As far I understand, they put together a kind of heist looking for upgraded cyrotubes that could sustain them in the longer trips out. Just the station they went to, happened to be an old Weyland experiment testing facility. "We should be in and out within 30 minutes."

You liked something about that resurrection crap. Nerd card REVOKED. I don't like the new design. The mouth is too big, and the tubules are too small. I'll probably still watch it, but not on premiere night at the cinema or anything.
