Off topic for this comment. When Bishop left the spot he was suppose to pick up Ripley and Newt could he have actually had a pre programmed order to bring an egg back and wasnt possibly be aware to it? That could explain how the face hugger got Ripley in the cryo chamber. There was a company that was custom making the pulse rifle from Aliens and it was spot on and you can see the range test on you tube

Hell yes!!! I’m really looking forward to a reinvigoration to the alien franchise. I was 4 when alien came out. I watched it when I was 6 and couldn’t sleep for a week afterwards. Scared the crap out of me. Aliens was epic. After that it was mediocre at best. Prometheus and covenant were ok. So really looking forward to Romulus.

If there is a scene that made people 9n set look away or get nauseous Ive def gotta see this. When the original Alien came out I was 7 and made my mom cover my eyes. If this movie can replicate that i dont wanna know whats coming next and what did I get myself i nto watching thos movie then itsma definite winner.

I think revealing that the film will have an android character with Ian Holm’s likeness is a bit of a spoiler, don’t you? Maybe not a major one, but I think that would’ve been better to reveal after a spoiler warning.

I thought about it, but since he is a character in the film I don't think it spoils anything. His presence isn't any kind of reveal towards any plot or motivations for his character. I look at it as similar to the Marvel movies, and how slowly but surely the cast is revealed to the fans, including cameos. I did learn other things about the movie that I did not share because I felt they were more specific. But I thought that this was too interesting not to mention, and I wanted to see what people thought about it.

Actually, this is the 9th Installment of the Franchise. Alien / Aliens / Alien 3 / Alien Resurrection / Alien Vs Predator AVP / Aliens Vs Predator / Prometheus and Alien Covenant. And I actually enjoyed them all. And I am seriously looking forward to this new one, Especially now that I know it's be directed by Fede Álvarez, who also directed Evil Dead 2013, both Don't Breathe Films and the latest Texas Chainsaw Massacre films.

Since Disney has taken over both the Alien and Predator franchises they have distanced themselves from the AvP movies. Prometheus and especially Covenant already presented a different origin for the Xenomorph.
