WRONG--the "Voyages," as they now stand, CANNOT be saved without "Star Trek: Unhappenings." "Star Trek: Unhappenings" would begin with an evil, non-humanoid and indeed ANTI-humanoid, alien species that can corrupt time to its own ends and, as it hopes in its villainy, wipe out the entire pan-hominin and pan-humanoid type from the entire galaxy. Fighting against it would be one of the handful of surviving Terrestrial Humans. I think they have no idea what they want to do long term. Which is why we haven't seen another Kelvin Universe movie and why Legacy wasn't approved. Paramount is looking at short term only and how they can make a quick buck.

Just eradicate the JJ Kelvin timeline stuff, it’s god-awful, a bastardisation of Trek, full of JJ’s bogus tropes and misunderstanding of the franchise he’s trying to “redo”. Put it away and don’t touch it again. And no, we don’t need ANOTHER reboot. Just stick with the prime timeline. Are DISCO, SNW, LD, PICARD etc perfect? No. Are they still trying to maintain the prime universe and continue to tell stories in the core universe. Yes. The current TV slate is fine, and they’ve been improving as the years have been going on. You can be a longtime fan of Star Trek and not push out all the recent shows, they’re developing and evolving, not bastardising the core ideas. We don’t need a separate kelvin continuity to tell stories that stomp on Treks heritage. And we don’t need ANOTHER reboot to get more people interested in Star Trek by creating different versions of established events that are more “action packed” and “popular actor centric” for the sake of drawing in the wider “simple” audience. Trek is built on the foundation of showing the audience science fiction using scientific principles, highlighting the problems we face in the present by juxtaposing it against a future that’s all but eradicated material want and societal prejudices. Continue to tell stories in a rich universe, don’t undermine it with countless reboots and redos, it kills creativity and value.

Generally the the New Series are marked by exceeding low quality in writing. Particularly Star Trek Discover and the First 2 seasons of Star Trek Picard. It should not be discounted just how badly these 2 series have also marred Canon for long time Trek Fans.

I can't, I like them all but then I liked all the Star Wars too. When you've been watching it for 4 or 5 decades you're kind of used to story lines and the way they do programs changing. Everything has nothing runs like what Marcus Welby or one Adam-12 or any of the 60s or 70s shows does today. So change is expected if you let change not let you enjoy the shows that's your problem.

Paramount should sell trek, all they've done is turn it into generic TV, relying on shock and awe over good writing, characters and substance. Nutrek is much like the game this video is sponsored by....a generic, substandard media with the trek universe draped over it. Short of a whole new reboot, I have no hope for any good trek to come out on Paramount. I have Paramount plus, only to keep rewatching tos, tng, ds9, voy and ent.

Yes, very generic. There is no spirit of old trek in these reboots. 2009 Trek was doomed to be a Star Wars rip off from the beginning. They (The powers that be) wanted to be free of the burdensome lore but that's exactly why they bought it. When you strip away the lore you're stripping the reason why the fans love these continuing stories. Without it, it's just another generic SCI FI show and that's why they are failing. Ex. The MCU was successful is because we were invested in the long story. When that story didn't pick up after END GAME we stopped watching. (It was no longer MUST SEE)

Yes, they should sell it, but two issues: One, the Bad reboot company still has Paramount by the balls. Anyone who buys this would get the Bad Reboot company as the addition, unless Klutzman is bought out (costing much more then). And Klutzman doesn't want out, as he won't get a job anywhere else as Hollyweird now sees what a talent-less hack he is. Two, the current single biggest stock owner of Paramount wants way too much for the Trek license. Not when it was run into the ground. Much like Star Wars. When sold, Lucas got more than 4 billion for it, now, the Mousetrap company would probably barely get a billion for it.

As long as it doesn't go to Discovery networks I'll be all right with it they ruined the discovery networks and I don't trust them with Star Trek. Well have naked ensigns on a planet trying to survive all night and consider that in depth haven't looked at Max or HBO or whatever it is called now since they bought it.
