Eeee, let's goo!! I love that we're getting into some goth stuff. :D I love how surprisingly detailed and intricate goth music (especially the early stuff) can be. It's fascinating.

Hiya @LucretiasReflections, and I agree! So very beautiful. I feel like it's the melancholy and even despair, but mixed with hope and beauty-and just the recognition that existence is a mix of it all. I always felt like the music was semi-philosophical.... The Sisters of Mercy had/have that too. (BTW it was a huge tragedy: I had tix to see SofM in San Francisco this past fall and got really sick and missed it! Ack...)
