The Yak Hobby product line is great! I especially love the 2" rear risers for the seat for my Old Town PDL106. They really help getting out of the seat easier. They are the best design to protect the boat body with the flat base on the risers. I used Gorilla 2-sided tape to attach to the bottom of the seat. A big plus, the owner Aaron provides a personal customer touch with any questions.

Aliex, have you ever experienced a Bixby battery start to smoke and make a hissing or sizzling sound at the connection from the battery to the motor.

@AliexFolgueira I received a concerning reply from Bixpy but no remedy for the issue other than take it outside, don't mess with it, and send the motor back to for a possible fix at best (they actually use the word at best) for 120.00 bucks! I used the unit no more 30 times in freshwater! I would hope they would just replace it because I'm a fan of the portability.

Hey Alex one question I have a Yak Attack 9.5 Modular two piece kayak that has the fin paddles ,as u know the fin paddles don’t back up .I want to be able to backup sometimes so is there a propeller piece that I can use in my kayak .Like a universal propeller peddles that I can buy to put into my kayak so I can backup now ??

You can probably flip the fins quick and go in reverse, then flip it back, adapting a third party prop drive is probably not gonna work
