Came out beautiful! I'm trying to learn how to make mooncakes myself. I tried making my own salted egg yolk, but it didn't turn out well. Hopefully I can buy the pre-made in the store!

Hi, yes you definitely can use the pre-made ones in the store, that what I used ! If you think the yolk is not oil enough ( if you prefer this), you can try to soak them in oil for an hour and then use it🥰🥰💖💖

Hi, yes there will be a bit of different between color. The egg yolk+cooking oil will make the color more shining, and the egg yolk+water is a bit muted compare to the one with oil👍👍❤️❤️🥰🥰
