Well your not alone I also have a rare Syndrome called Maige Syndrome a rare form of Distonia! I just started Botox injections to help it but it's not a cure. But I feel for you it's hard to deal with! If I didn't have Jesus it would be devastating. Love you and thanks for the update..

It really is sore when I go to the dentist ( holding my mouth open for awhile ) it hurts up into my ear and my jaw pops and cracks. 😊 one day we won't have any pain. I hope you continue to improve. I missed seeing your videos and I'm sorry that you're going through all of that. I too have diabetes and struggle with that and let me tell you the shots have helped me so much. I'm on Manjaro and it has definitely helped the weight loss and the sugar numbers drop. So don't discount it if you need to do it. I had prayed for you and I had hoped everything was okay and I'm glad to see you back that you are back. By the way your hair looks great it makes you look younger

Hi Darlene, I just received very bad news about my nephew Michael. He has been having seizures. The doctor put him in a medical induced coma and on life support. Once everyone can come and say their goodbyes we will take him off life support. We knew he only had a few months and he is in God's hands. He does know the Lord as his savior. This is so hard as a mom. I raised him since he was 12. He is 44. Please pray for me and the family. Especially his 10 year old son Benjamin. Thank you for all your prayers. Not only for my family, but for everyone. I love that you have this prayer chain available 🙏🙏❤️

No I was diagnosed 35 years ago! Doing better than I deserve! God knows everything and He knows what we can handle o use Joni Earickson Tada. God must think I am strong!😁 Just know that God’s promises are yes and amen let us believe for a miracle for both of us! Jesus said that by His stripes we are healed!!! All !!!

I have been eating low carb for 4 years and it is the only way I keep my weight down and satisfy my love for food!! Look up Maria Emmerich because she has an awesome Lasagna recipe where she switches out the noodles for thin sliced deli turkey. It’s a delicious staple at my house. We have fed it to company and they cleaned their plate!!

Your hair looks really good. I wear mine pretty much in that style and it’s so much easier to take care of. I could tell as soon as I saw you that you have lost weight. I developed Afib several years ago and I too have to watch my weight. Mostly sodium and fats. I list 50 pounds and have gained back 10, so working on that plus more. I do know about that nerve condition. I have it in my right side. Mostly affects behind my ear, and down into my shoulder. Terrible headaches and depression when it flares up. You’ve had a lot of stress with you all moving up in the air. I’m so sorry you’ve been sick but sounds like you are doing better. That haircut makes you look younger. Praying that you continue to improve.

It is wonderful to have you back, Darlene! I have been a subscriber for over a year but don’t comment a lot. You are brave and so thoughtful to come here and share with us all that you’ve been going through. Thank goodness you listened to your body and sought some answers. I don’t blame you for refusing the diabetes medications that doctors are so quick to prescribe. I have 2 friends who have had numerous problems with some of those meds. That’s all I will say on the subject…😉 I am kind of in the same space you mentioned when you talked about how you felt about your hair situation. I began letting my hair grow around December 2019, which was a few months after I retired. My older daughter encouraged me to do it, saying that there are no rules stating that older ladies must get their hair cut short and permed! So mine is now halfway down my back and is silver. I get a lot of compliments on it. But lately, I’ve been wondering if the length is now working against me. I only wash it once a week because I lose a lot of strands each time. It’s getting thinner and thinner, so I’m thinking I should cut it at least to the length you’ve got. By the way, your new style is SO becoming on you! I really like it! Another lady I watch on KZbin (Llama Mama Kayla) has trigeminal neuralgia too, along with severe Raynaud’s syndrome (she’s had 7 fingers amputated as a result) and Sjogren’s disease and CREST. Anyway, she has stated several times that the facial pain from TN is the most severe pain she’s ever experienced. I just can’t imagine it.
