I feel so sad watching these videos.. it’s like I can feel your discomfort while you’re just eating normal meals.. I can feel the obsession of forcing yourself to burn the calories of the meals that you’re gonna eat and also the obsession of slimming down a body that’s already perfect and healthy :( I get that anxiety feeling from you about constant strict dieting when you don’t even have excess weight honey ❤️ you are truly beautiful Alivia. When I watched your super motivational videos about eating healthier to be more fit and to get rid of the acne it was amazing! It gave me strength to do even more sport myself :) but videos like this actually make me sad and scared that you might have a little eating disorder? Or just too much anxiety around the food topic. You are eating perfectly healthy meals with just a bit of normal snacks, that’s how a normal diets looks like :))

I was thinking the same thing while watching and I it worries me and makes me sad that so many young people are following and "copying". I'm not saying this to be mean or to look down on anyone, it just genuinely worries me that so much is about looking "perfect" and that being healthy always equal losing weight. It can mean so many other things!

Its supposed to be a balanced life. Putting foods into bad and good categories is setting yourseld up for failure. Let your self eat the foods you like but also stay in your calorie limit. No eating just one whole pizza a day isn't healthy but that's where balance comes in.

Your uploads kinda... Bring me back to earth. Since your last upload I've developed an eating disorder, stopped stretching, and got addicted to benadryl again after overdosing only a few months ago. But this video made me realize I really need to change. You inspire me so much. I’ve struggled with my weight for almost 3 years. Since 9 i’ve been getting fat jokes. I often go on binges with food and even though i weighed probably 85 pounds at 9 i gained weight steadily every year. I’m now 12 and 150 lbs. I’ve wanted to do something about it for a while now, but i felt so alone and depressed. This series has set me off. Watching this series now i just took a 45 minute run on an elliptical machine and ate a healthy lunch, i brushed my hair and took care of myself for the first time in a long time.It’s not much but it’s one day of many. Thank you for letting me believe in myself again. 💕🙏🏻💪🏻

I am actually doing this, its my 4th day without junk food rn Edit: I think it's my 11 or 12th day. Im doing pretty good and thank you all again for believing in me! I've gotten so many likes I'm pretty sure my whole year will be without junk food lol :) thank you guys tho really needed this motivation Edit: holy crap my next 2 years will be without junk food thanks for all this motivation lol! I've lost count of my days, but I'm not gonna lie I definitely didn't not eat junk food since I made this comment. I'd say I'm at 15 days or so. But in two years so far I'll be eating junk food. I'm going to try and update every day or every couple days if I remember... if I see any change in my body or how I feel I will definitely update tho. (We went out a lot in this summer and I've been binging I know i gia weight :( ) I will try to update but tysm to the people encouraging and congratulating me Edit: so it's been a year since I did this and 🥺 I totally forgot so I'm really sorry. But most of the year I tried really hard to be healthy, and I was on the girl's basketball team so I did lots of exercise :) when the pandemic started tho, I gained a bunch of weight and I'm trying to put it off now. I walk about 8 km a day and I eat pretty healthy. Every now and then if you guys wanna know then I'll update you!

as a former binge eater, I know exactly how the restriction > binge > guilt > self punishment cycle feels. It sucks. I had no idea doing the exact opposite of limiting was the key. "If I still want this in the next hour, I can have it" mentality really helped me.

BabyyyyYYYYYYYY you, do, not! Find motivation in likes. Now you listen to me. Think about your reasons. Imagine having a better immune system, clearer skin, better mood and other thiiiiiings. Think about it. That's what you get from eating healthy. Plus, there are soooo many delicious, healthy foods. Oatmeal is like, amazing. You can add berries, some sweeteners and whatever you like. Lunch? Imagine delicious home cooked potatos or other vegetables, that aren't brutally fried in oil. Now, think about unhealthy cravings. I don't know what it is for you. Maybe it's donuts, maybe it's chips or ice-cream. Whatever it is, you don't know what is in there, and which one is gonna fill you up faster? Probably home- cooked food. If you're having trouble, you can start by switching up unhealthy snacks to a healthier ones. Like popcorn > chips. Wish the best of luck to you!

You are completely right about weight loss not being a good goal to focus on. I struggled with an ED (Anorexia) for several years, and it was because of me continually focusing on losing weight. I was living on 500 to 800 calories a day and burning most of that off during workouts. And while, yes, I would lose weight, it would also fluctuate between light and skinny, to heavy and chubby very quickly. And even when I lost weight I couldn't be happy about it because of my body dysmorphia making me think that I was bigger than I was. Now I'm in year 12 and I'm about to finally graduate high school. I've been focusing on studying and instead of worrying about my weight, I am instead concerned about how healthy I am eating and it has worked wonders. Once you start focusing on feeling good, instead of looking good, you become much happier all around. That is the only way to truely glow up. You can look good and not be happy, but you can't be happy and not look good.

I just watched all of your glow up diaries and It made me really inspired. The past few months I’ve felt really unmotivated and unhappy with myself and the way I’ve been treating my body, but I couldn’t find anything that motivated myself. I am so inspired by your videos that I’ve already started to move forward. I’ve started by making my bed everyday when I get up and cleaning my room often. I know it doesn’t sound like anything but it’s already made me feel a little better. Now that I’ve watched your videos I feel confident that I can do this and help myself to get back on my feet. This is how I used to be back in highschool. I wanted to lose weight so bad that I would restrict myself from food but then I would binge eat. Fast foward to my senior year in highschool and I won my food mindset battle. Going vegan helped me love real food and since I was giving myself enough good carbs I no longer craved junk food. I still eat vegan junk food here and there but it's rare. You got this Alivia! It's all a battle in the mind and it will take time. But once you concer it, you'll feel liberated.

I felt so related with it, that I almost cried, with the wrong mindset things get more diificult, but the key is not to give up. It all starts with love not hate. You can do it Alivia. Also I wanted to say that you have inspire me so much lately :)

Hey Alivia, It’s been a while since you’ve posted a video and I just wanted to maybe give you a quick confidence boost. Your efforts with working out, dieting, and KZbin are so inspiring to your viewers. I know for me personally, I am going through my own health journey and watching your video diaries really help me not only feel inspired to keep pushing, but also show me that everyone makes mistakes and that I’m not the only one on the planet with bad body image. I know you are doing great things and who knows, you are probably super duper busy with your crazy life schedule and that’s why you are not posting but just in case you are feeling low, just know that you are a huge role model to many of us health babies out here. Healthy eating is not about ALWAYS eating a salad or Samoan its about eating with conscience. if you eat unhealthy everyday its unhealthy don't get me wrong but if you always feel bad about having one unhealthy day or one ice-cream you will become to paranoid with you diet which is not good for you mentally. I am a extremely competive runner which means to get/stay fit for my sport I have to eat healthy and I found when I got to paranoid with my diet I felt insecure. you are doing a amazing job with your journey and you are inspiring so many people (including me) thank you I just wanted to share a little bit of my experience with health. I know I'm just a 14 year old but eating healthy has really impacted my life and you are helping me with my journey! thank you!! X

i've been binge watching all your glo up videos! they've given me so much motivation to get up and actually start making choices in my life that allow me to be happy instead of complaining 24/7 about how much my life sucks and how unhappy i've been. last year i was in such a shitty place mentally, it was my first year uni so that was overwhelming and i lost so many highschool friends which rendered me a loner. i was only happy i had my boyfriend that had my back through thick and thin... until he left too.. my boyfriend of 4 years broke up with me because he missed the "old me" and he started going gym/got a beard/hanging out with his mates and basically i became something that was holding him back from living his best life - oh and he didnt see me as 'marriage material'. but no more. i'm going to be happy. im going to start focusing on myself and live my own best life. i dont wanna look back on my 20's and be disappointed or even worse, not make it to 30. so instead of feeling sorry for myself - im going to fix myself, make new friends and start making experiences. hopefully this time next year i can come back to this comment (if i remember) and say 'i did it' :) p.s. good luck to everyone else on their own personal life journeys xxx

*I can totally and completely and utterly relate to this feeling of gross Ness after feeding myself with unkind food. And not moving my body. I think all of us girls go through a. one of the best ways to help yourself eat healthier is to have your family help encourage you and support you in limiting the amount of “unhealthy” food that comes into your house in the first place. also your food restrictions don’t have to start off as drastic- no dairy or only having dessert on the weekend is a great confidence booster until you are mentally ready for limiting your diet even more. you’ve got this! much love and encouragement from yours truly!

I watch your videos and I feel happy knowing that I'm not alone. I love how you talk about loving a healthy lifestyle, reaching goals, and having a good mindset. I think this is very important because even if you are losing weight, you can still be unhappy with yourself. I know because I struggled with an eating disorder and even though I thought I looked better, I wasn't happy nor was I healthy. I love that you have a good balance between your mental and physical health.

these diaries are really helping me. i recently graduated from high school and am taking the year off to get myself together, work, start driving, figuring at least a little bit of myself out. these diaries couldn’t come at a more perfect time. i realized i want to try to get into irvine after community college but going from a not so great student to that attempt is gonna be challenging. i’ve been in a depression for a while and because of these videos i cleaned and ate healthy today. these videos are giving me motivation i need and on night doing homework wondering if it’s worth it i’ll definitely come back to these. thank you

i never liked the way my family fat shamed me but then would cook all this frozen food and get takeout expecting me to just not eat it too? of course I cant blame them for everything but ur vegas trip really reminded me of this almost guilt tripping

Hey! I just wanted to say- I too have been working on my physical health. Though I am still pushing through, this video reminds me of my mindset. I will try to eat healthy all day, and get frustrated later when I indulge in something unhealthy. However, I am improving in the way I view exercise. Instead of running, I lift weights and do cardio videos. I'm not criticizing the way you exercise, in fact I admire it. For me, the anger and stress comes out through lifting, and punching a punching bag. I don't know if you will ever try these things, but they really helped me be healthier. I could see the muscle definition, and the change motivated me to persevere. I also worried a little less about what I ate because I knew it would help me gain strength and muscle. It has raised my self esteem and given me confidence. I am no where near my end goal, but I am getting there. Your videos really inspire me, and I know you might never read this, but I hope my input helped.

I started changing my life because of you! My mom is a personal trainer and nutritionist and she always says her clients fall into the mindset of "Already broke my diet might as well continue unhealthy" she says the more you stick with it the easier. Even when i do have a cookie or eat some pizza i just go back to eating healthy and it has seemed to work for me.

Alivia I just wanted to thank you for changing my body FOREVER. I have (and still do) struggle with my fluctuating weight and eating habits, so starting on a fitness path was difficult. It was through your stretching videos, I was able to push myself through the pain and get my body to be flexible in ways I never thought I’d reach. I know how difficult things can get with trying to love your body and finding the right routine that fits, eventually we’ll all find the right way (it just takes some experiment and patience). Hopefully you’re doing well 😃

I really need this and I know um just a stranger but this comment really helped. I just got done working out 7 minutes ago and i planned on doing hello fresh(that's why i watched this...well also because I love alivia) or the 22 day nutrition beyonce Coachella plan. So I didn't want to eat because almost everything i what to eat has carbs or fish in it. I actually planned on starving myself until night so I could go to sprouts to get food. I know this isn't a big deal for you but you just helped me not start a really unhealthy habit. Thank you

A good think i like to remember for special occasions and trips is that you should not focus on the food because it will make you miserable, you should focus on the time spent doing fun things and creating memories and just enjoying yourself. You will not be able to focus on the good things when you are thinking of the negative, and you will never get that moment back, so for those special times, just be free. You can always burn off the calories when you are done.

I haven’t been doing anything for almost a year - no workouts no stretching. I lost all of my progress and fell in a hole of doing nothing and feeling bad about it but not being motivated enough to change myself. But listening to your voice again after a long time made me want to do everything again. I combine you with the healthy me and the one that could finally do her splits after two years of stretching I don’t wanna sit and do nothing anymore Thank you 💗💗
