You are all giving us, Ireland, too much credit. While a large number of Irish people stand with Palestinians our government has had to be dragged kicking and screaming to take the actions and make comments they have. They still have not implemented the Occupied Territories Bill which was approved by all parties a number of years ago and it is reported that our government advised Israel that it would not implement it. They allow weapons from the US that are destined for Israel to be used against the people of Palestine to travel through Irish air space. They refuse to check US military cargo planes landing at Shannon airport for weapons. And with regards to the Israeli embassy in Ireland, it should have been the Irish government who sent the Israelis packing and not waiting for the Israelis to pull out them selves.
