Alkaline Trio is his home... You always feel at ease at home. Blink 182 is like another person's house. You're never perfectly loose and relaxed, and you have to always watch you manners.

I've been an alkaline trio fan for 20+ years. They aren't about guitar riffs or gimmicks. They are about songwriting, structure, and fluidity. I love that Matt learned a different songwriting process in blink. Their new stuff is familiar but seems to have a different energy. In a good way. Keep it up boys!
